Students will be challenged to use creativity and problem-solving skills to design, implement and evaluate a broad range of projects with community partners. Students will design health informatics and information management solutions while learning to maintain security, privacy and confidentiality. The BAHIS degree will offer students opportunities to develop critical thinking and communication skills that will enable them to work successfully on inter-professional teams. Upon graduation from the program, students will qualify to challenge the national certification examination of the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA). Career Development Practitioner is a three-semester (one-year) graduate certificate program that prepares graduates to enter the career development sector. The world of work is rapidly changing and new careers are emerging to meet current and future workforce needs. Career Development Professionals provide information, advice, and guidance related to career exploration, skill acquisition, job search, and maintenance. This one-year graduate (three semesters) certificate program provides training to enter and/or advance in the field of career development such as career and employment advisors, career resource specialists, job developers, or career management professionals. This program may also appeal to practitioners working in the field who want to gain additional formal training, job coaching experience, or attain their Career Development Practitioner designation. Graduation from the program provides the full academic component and partial fulfillment of work experience hours for certification by the Career Development Practitioners' Certification Board of Ontario (CDPCBO).

The Business Analytics Ontario College Graduate Certificate program focuses on two of the four types of analytics used in business - Descriptive Analytics and Diagnostics Analytics. Areas of study within property and casualty coverage include agency claims and investigation, underwriting, marketing and management. An optional co-op work-term provides you an authentic, professionally-relevant work experience. The opportunity to connect theory with practice will allow you to develop a broad base of occupational skills, embrace key concepts and terminology within the field and expose you to networking opportunities. In addition, you will have the opportunity to gain nine of the ten credits required for the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada and you may choose to register for the CIP national exams at an additional cost in order to receive credentials awarded by the Institute.Pursue a career within the insurance industry and make a difference in the lives of those in your community. As a student in the Woodworking Technician program, you will study at one of the most advanced woodworking training facilities in North America. You will receive a solid foundation in the skills and technology involved in the manufacture of furniture, cabinets and architectural millwork, as well as training in modern manufacturing techniques. During the first year of the program, which is common with the Woodworking Technology program, you will spend a significant amount of time learning the set-up and operation of woodworking machinery and equipment, laminating, veneering, machining, sanding, assembly and finishing. The second year, which is also common with the Woodworking Technology program, involves extensive project work, introduction to production management skills, manufacturing of kitchen cabinets and architectural millwork.

Massage therapists are important members of the interprofessional health care team, working with a broad range of patients. Massage therapy consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints for the purpose of optimizing health, through engagement not only of the musculoskeletal system but also of the neurological and circulatory systems. The Massage Therapy program is geared towards those individuals with an interest in health care and helping people, an aptitude for science and problem solving, and direct hands-on application of skills. This three-year advanced diploma is designed to meet the educational requirements for certification, through examination, as a Registered Massage Therapist by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. This fully-integrated program covers the basic biological sciences such as anatomy and physiology, massage therapy specific knowledge and skills, and clinical reasoning and therapeutic decision making.

The Business Administration - Management (BAM) program is designed for students whose career goals include business management, self-employment or entrepreneurial ventures.The variety of courses in this program will provide students with a big-picture understanding of all major areas of business (finance and accounting, marketing and sales, human resource management and supply chain and operations), competitive skills and forward thinking for today’s evolving workforce. This program helps students develop their skills as a management generalist, offering maximum flexibility in their career choices. Students gain an understanding of the theory and skills needed for the practical applications of modern management techniques used in a variety of corporate, government and non-profit entities, as well as in small business ventures.Students in the BAM program gain exposure to real-life working environments through a variety of innovative structured activities. These may include research projects, guest speakers, consulting projects with local industry, mentoring opportunities, plant tours, computer simulations, cases, reflective exercises and role-playing. Students who graduate from this program with an overall average of 70% or more are eligible for entry into Year 3 of the four-year International Business Management degree program.

Today's secondary wood manufacturing sector strongly benefits from the use of computerized numerical control (CNC) equipment in areas such as architectural millwork, kitchen cabinets, and furniture components. If you have an interest in the woodworking industry and a desire to program and set-up CNC machines, this program is well-suited for you. 
This one-year Ontario College Certificate will provide you with the skills to apply CNC techniques to develop programs for various CNC equipment such as beam saws, nesting routers, point-to-point machining centers, drills and dovetail machines. Through active, hands-on learning you will gain practical knowledge of the equipment, as well as best practices used in CNC programming within a variety of industrial settings. Program work is completed in a 50,000 square foot state-of-the art facility using modern equipment.
