If you are a graduate of an engineering or engineering technology program and want to expand your knowledge, the Applied Manufacturing Management – Design Integration program will be of interest to you. This Ontario College Graduate Certificate will help you prepare to make an effective start in supervisory or managerial teams within a manufacturing environment. In this program you will apply project lifecycle techniques, the ability to utilize and integrate complex manufacturing design software, and team management skills that will aid in meeting industry goals. Through theoretical and practical courses you will be exposed to real life situations that arise in the workplace. You will work individually and in groups using current software to simulate the management of manufacturing initiatives while incorporating quality assurance, process and project management techniques. Global Hospitality Management
The Global Hospitality Management graduate certificate program is open to international students with a background in hospitality. This program will complement an already earned diploma or degree in business, hospitality or a related field, and enable applicants to gain a work visa in Canada. Graduates of the Global Hospitality Management program will develop more management and operational ability specific to the hospitality industry and provide graduates with opportunities to obtain a supervisory or management level position in hospitality organizations. Conestoga College's Business Supply Chain and Operations for Commercial Trucking program will prepare you to work with clients, border crossing agents, and their internal team to be an asset to the supply chain process and optimize business efficiencies and relations. In this program, you will focus on trucking operations, logistics, and business principles. Some of the areas of focus include transportation communication, customer service, freight calculations, hours of service, e-logging legislation, geography, logistics business practices, and driving simulation. Graduates are positioned to begin their AZ licensing with an affiliated 3rd party trainer if commercial driving is their career goal.

Strategic Marketing Communications is an experiential, career-focused program for graduate students who want to learn how to work in the multiple roles expected in the marketing and communications fields. Graduates will enter an evolving area of the communications sector. The move to integrate the ways an organization communicates to its internal and external stakeholders has grown, in part, due to the pervasive use of social media which both enhances and challenges communicators globally. All sectors of business and not-for-profit organizations must now manage both offline and online images and messages for consistency across the traditional silos of marketing, sales, advertising, and public relations. While graduates have the knowledge to work in these diverse fields, they do so by integrating the disciplines with a common strategic direction, to achieve the goals of the organizations that employ them. This strategic approach is emphasized through the planning phase and reinforced as students learn to produce professional collateral and digital content using industry-standard technology and emerging social platforms. Learning culminates in a client-based capstone project to develop an integrated marketing communications plan.

In just 30 weeks, graduates of the Data Processing and Reporting program are prepared to assume roles entering and organizing data in an office role. You will develop the skills and strategies required to interact with customers in a professional and appropriate manner in a diverse business environment. This Ontario College Certificate program prepares you to use various electronic data applications, while gaining hands-on experience to organize data, visually present data, develop basic data reports, validate accuracy of data and support digital marketing platforms. A field placement is included; allowing you to translate theoretical knowledge from the classroom into applied practice in a workplace setting.

The Business Administration - Management (BAM) program is designed for students whose career goals include business management, self-employment or entrepreneurial ventures.The variety of courses in this program will provide students with a big-picture understanding of all major areas of business (finance and accounting, marketing and sales, human resource management and supply chain and operations), competitive skills and forward thinking for today’s evolving workforce. This program helps students develop their skills as a management generalist, offering maximum flexibility in their career choices. Students gain an understanding of the theory and skills needed for the practical applications of modern management techniques used in a variety of corporate, government and non-profit entities, as well as in small business ventures.Students in the BAM program gain exposure to real-life working environments through a variety of innovative structured activities. These may include research projects, guest speakers, consulting projects with local industry, mentoring opportunities, plant tours, computer simulations, cases, reflective exercises and role-playing. Students who graduate from this program with an overall average of 70% or more are eligible for entry into Year 3 of the four-year International Business Management degree program.

The Business Analytics Ontario College Graduate Certificate program focuses on two of the four types of analytics used in business - Descriptive Analytics and Diagnostics Analytics. Using these two types of analytics, you will practice summarizing data findings to communicate what is currently going on in business and help stakeholders see what contributed to the outcome of your findings.

Are you passionate for the art of visual storytelling through film and video? In this program you will learn to write, perform, shoot, and edit content in a variety of formats. Using industry standard equipment and software, storytelling skills are enhanced through lighting, sound design, and post-production finishing.The program's inventory of HD field cameras and professional lighting kits is continually enhanced by the acquisition of the latest ancillary gear. Multi-camera production experience is well served by our fully equipped HD studio along with remote production equipment.The fourth semester of this 2-year program is split between a field placement where you will work within the industry and a final capstone project where you will integrate the skills you have learned within the program. This provides you with an opportunity to produce a project you are passionate about and to strengthen your portfolio. Along with jobs within the Film and Television Industry, the Television and Independent Production Program also prepares you to navigate the world of freelance employment or to create your own opportunities through entrepreneurship.

The Animation industry is growing within Canada and there is a demand for Animation professionals. This two-year credential is designed to prepare graduates for animation opportunities in the fields of TV, film, game, and online production. As a student, this program provides you with the opportunity to bring life to characters and stories. Using your creative talents with drawing, animation and production techniques, along with strong storytelling skills, you will create a variety of 2D and 3D animations. A critical component of this program is the production pipeline and the ability to take an animation project from concept to completion. You will work in project-based learning environments and will create work to contribute to your e-portfolio. A field placement in the last semester of the program gives you direct access to the animation industry.
