Overview
The Aviation Technology - Aircraft Maintenance and Avionics Advanced Diploma is a Transport Canada approved program (TC-2018-02-4248) that provides students with the knowledge and skills required to start a career in aircraft maintenance and/or aircraft avionics maintenance. This program will cover all aspects of aircraft maintenance including systems used in general aviation, corporate, and charter transport category aircraft as well as helicopters. The program will also include avionics training for service, repair, and maintenance of aircraft electrical and electronic systems such as communication, navigation, and data systems.

Students who wish to work in Canada require a work permit to do so. A student in Canada can work part-time during the course of his studies and full-time during holidays and semester breaks and post the completion of their course/program.
You can also work part-time on campus at your university.

Your part-time work permit will be valid for as long as you have a valid study permit.

Business Fundamentals - Entrepreneurship is a one-year Ontario College Certificate program. Business (Co-op) is a two-year Ontario College Diploma program. This program is designed for students with an interest in all aspects of business. Students gain an understanding of all various business areas including accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, supply chain management, small business, and project management. Ethical and sustainable business practices are considered, and students are encouraged to explore individual areas of business that are of greater interest. Students are given a wide exposure to business that meets the needs of those who desire a career in business management whether in a large organization or a family business. Students can also earn education credits toward the Certified in Management (CIM) designation from the Canadian Institute of Management. Diploma in Business in Insurance (Co-op)
Business - Insurance (Co-op) is a two-year Ontario College Diploma program with a co-operative education component. This program is designed to prepare students for positions in the property and casualty insurance industry. Students will study forms of general insurance, underwriting, claims investigation, risk analysis and contracts. Students have the opportunity to complete nine of ten credits toward their Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation issued by the Insurance Institute of Canada. Graduates work in high-demand areas of insurance such as underwriting, claims adjusting, brokerage or agency services and risk management.
Co-operative Education

Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering Technician (Co-op)
The program consists of four academic levels and eight months of co-op working in industry. The program prepares graduates for employment in areas such as numerically controlled machines programming, tool design, production planning, statistical process control, value engineering, advanced machining and maintenance engineering throughout the manufacturing industry. Modern numerically controlled CNC and CAD/CAM equipment is utilized in this program.
Other Information
Graduates of the two-year Manufacturing Engineering Technician (Co-op) Ontario College Diploma program may apply to Level 5 of the Manufacturing Engineering Technology (Co-op) program to complete the requirements for an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering Technology. Students wishing to continue into the Manufacturing Engineering Technology (Co-op) program must complete an "Application for Program Transfer" form available from the Office of the Registrar, Room E1012.
This program will be delivered over two years, which includes four academic levels and two 4-month co-op terms.
A CONNECT lab fee of $50.00 per academic term is included in the Additional Program Fees stated in the Fee Schedule. This fee helps cover costs associated with the delivery of the CONNECT mobile computing program.

Advanced Diploma in Dental Hygiene
This program prepares students to practice as primary oral health care providers in a variety of practice environments, including clinical, education, health promotion and research. Dental hygienists are preventive specialists who provide oral health services based on scientific knowledge and a client-centerd model of care. Program emphasis is on preparing students to function within their scope of practice, in a collaborative manner, with the client, the community and other health care providers. Seminars, case presentations, community health practicums, and the clinical setting contribute towards developing a professional committed to the principles of quality assurance and continued competency.
