This program is structured for individuals with previous BIM experience who are looking to expand their knowledge in a rapidly growing sector of the AEC industry. The Developmental Services Worker (Fast Track) Diploma program prepares its graduates to support people with developmental disabilities so that these individuals may participate fully in their communities. DSW have the specialized knowledge and skills required to work with people with developmental disabilities across the life span.

Inherent to the role of a DSW is an ability to collaborate and build relationships with people with developmental disabilities and their families and to work with colleagues and members of inter-professional teams to facilitate a seamless network of support for people.
Courses focus on disabilities, person-directed support, inclusion and community resources, dual diagnosis, interpersonal skills, counseling, health, pharmacology, development, teaching, and intervention strategies. Field placements in community agencies and/or schools are part of the curriculum.

This three-year Advanced Diploma in Cyber Security will provide students with the foundational Information Security (InfoSec) skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in the IT Security industry. Foundational topics will include information security, ethics, network management/analysis, programming and scripting, operating systems, and database management. Building on those foundational topics, the curriculum will also develop students’ skills in the areas of risk analysis, cryptography, vulnerability testing, access control implementation, and security audit performance. Graduates of this program will be able to proactively implement sound security practices to mitigate security risks and respond quickly to security breaches and issues that may have occurred.

Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy (Accelerated)

The professional faculty, including Registered Massage Therapists, medical professionals and seasoned professors will provide students with a high calibre experience. Students will learn, first hand, that the practice of massage therapy is the "assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissues and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, or relieve pain," as according to The Massage Therapy Act of Ontario. The Massage Therapy program at Fanshawe College is both challenging and rewarding. Through this program, you can acquire more than the core knowledge and skills required to succeed as a massage therapist.

Theory and practice are integral to the program, and students will be exposed to directly learning the skills of a Massage Therapist in the first level. Individual attention is spent by the faculty to ensure you achieve the utmost from your education. Many adjunct therapies to the Massage Therapist will be studied, including: sport massage, clinical massage, pregnancy massage; to name a few.

Beginning with an overview of business and insurance customer service (theory and practice) with a focus on distribution systems, you'll learn everything you need to work in a customer service role in an insurance brokerage, agency or direct insurance writer's office. This program is a great first step to more qualifications and you'll walk away with diverse skills needed for the modern and dynamic business world. Available in a traditional in-class format with September admission.

There are options to transfer directly into the second year of Fanshawe's Business Insurance program and earn your diploma in just two additional semesters.

This three year Building Renovation Technology Advanced Diploma program will prepare students to plan, implement, and lead building and renovation projects and equip them with the skills to manage the technical and business operations related to a range of building projects in the residential and light commercial sectors of the construction industry.  The program will address the changes in Ontario Building Code, introduced in January 2017, which dramatically increased the requirement for buildings to be sustainable and highly energy efficient.

Co-operative Education
This three year program has two co-operative education work terms.  Students can choose to participate in a four-month paid co-op term from May to August between years one and two of academic study.  The second work term is eight months and takes place May to December following the completion of the second year of academic study.
