Overview
Project Management is a one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate program, completed in two four-month levels (laptop required). Students will gain the in-depth knowledge, competencies, skills, tools, and techniques required to plan and execute major projects that achieve organizational goals on time and on budget. The Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge is an integral part of the program curriculum. The curriculum also addresses emerging trends in project management through courses in Agile Project Management, Project Recovery and Project Leadership. Upon completion of the first level of the program, students will be eligible for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification, an entry-level designation offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Graduates will be prepared to pursue PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP) designation after completing the prescribed period of professional project management experience.

Students who wish to work in Canada require a work permit to do so. A student in Canada can work part-time during the course of his studies and full-time during holidays and semester breaks and post the completion of their course/program.
You can also work part-time on campus at your university.

Your part-time work permit will be valid for as long as you have a valid study permit.

Diploma in Business in Human Resources
Business - Human Resources is a two-year Ontario College Diploma program. Students learn business basics such as accounting, communications, and computer applications, then focus on HR subjects such as training and development, recruitment, compensation, benefits, employment law and occupational health and safety. In their final semester, in class students have the opportunity to participate in a mentorship with an HR professional to experience first-hand the HR workplace environment. Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technician
This program is a two-year, four level program that will ready graduates for jobs in growth areas of electrical engineering technology such as electrical contracting, factory automation, power line maintenance and process control. Students will study electrical fundamentals, automation, power generation/distrubution and develop practical skills. Graduates will be skilled in AutoCAD, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, PLCs and industrial automation. Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems (Co-op)
This eight-month intensive Ontario College Graduate Certificate program in GIS, prepares graduates for employment in a wide range of land-based industries that utilize spatial and tabular data. The program is project-based, software-intensive, interdisciplinary, and focused on building flexible, current, high-end applied skills. Students will gain mastery of foundational GIS skills and apply leading-edge techniques in GIS Science to create spatial solutions. Diploma in Business in Finance (Co-op)
Business - Finance (Co-op) is a two-year Ontario College Diploma program. This program is designed to develop the skills needed to work in the growing personal financial services sector, from customer service to wealth management and financial planning. Students will learn to work with clients, evaluating their needs and offer advice on personal financial management, tax and retirement planning, insurance, investments, and estate planning, as well as customer relations and providing product to clients. Qualified graduates will have completed all the educational requirements leading to the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner®) designation awarded by the Financial Planning Standards Council www.fpsc.ca. and the Registered Retirement Consultant® RRC® designation awarded by CIFP.
Students are also prepared to write the Canadian Securities Course® and Life Licensing Qualification Program examinations as prerequisites to securities and life insurance licensing. Students will also have completed the Mutual Funds Licensing course.
Co-operative Education
In order to be eligible for co-op, students must maintain a 2.5 GPA and be academically complete at the commencement of their co-op work term.

The Music Industry Arts program is a creative and practical environment that allows students to discover and develop the artistic, technical and business skills that will prepare them to compete in today's evolving music and entertainment industry.

Diploma in Electromechanical Engineering Technician (Co-op)
This multidisciplinary program shall expose students to aspects of electromechanical systems. Traditionally, similar programs of study have been found in the electrical/electronic disciplines. Graduates from these programs will also gain knowledge of the mechanical aspects of a system, such as the ability to read mechanical prints, understand tolerances, as well as understand the mechanical nuances of a system.
This program will expose students to both electrical and mechanical principles, allowing graduates from the program to be capable of analyzing, modifying, maintaining and repairing electromechanical systems. As such, the focus of the program shall be concurrent engineering with respect to products and processes. Students shall also be exposed to project management and quality systems. The program will culminate in a 15-week capstone project course where students shall be able to apply their knowledge and document it according to current industry practice.
