This program specializes in creating interior environments in the context of professional interior design standards and practice. The curriculum emphasizes space planning and management, design process, research methodologies, socially responsible design, building systems, technological applications, contract documentation, and interior design presentation. Sustainable practices, entrepreneurship models, and regulatory codes are integrated throughout the curriculum. The curriculum is designed to meet current Council for Interior Design Accreditation's (CIDA) standards of delivery and content. Our program offers a uniquely collaborative learning experience which facilitates a hands-on model incorporating creative development, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and teaming protocols, providing our graduates with exceptional interior design knowledge and skills.

As integral members of the legal team, law clerks work independently under the general supervision of a lawyer and assist with numerous tasks associated with the handling of diverse legal matters, including significant client interaction. In this program, students learn to draft legal correspondence and memoranda and prepare various court documents in practice areas such as real estate, corporate, estates, civil litigation and family law, utilizing current legal software to produce documents to professional standards. Students learn legal administration skills, substantive law, ethics and professionalism. Students engage in experiential learning through a field placement that reinforces and expands upon the knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom. 

In this program, students develop and foster creative and artistic ability in a variety of studio areas. Students are engaged and challenged to achieve their individual goals and objectives as artists within a variety of traditional and non-traditional media. Students experience both the practical and theoretical components of fine arts. Students gain professional and entrepreneurial skills for professional practice and self employment necessary to successfully operate within the various professions of fine art.

Students acquire a solid foundation in art and design, and assess which area of the visual arts fits best with their individual proficiencies and interests. Effective research, problem-solving, and conceptualization skills are developed to prepare them for future studies in art and design. The breadth of hands-on studio art courses available provides an opportunity to learn new skills and techniques, while refining existing ones. Students develop a portfolio of their work, which will be valuable when applying to specialized art or design programs.

In this program, students gain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they need to become marketing professionals who can effectively manage a range of tasks and functions within business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C), not-for-profit, and government organizations. Using a broad range of analytical and creative approaches, students gain a wide understanding of marketing management fundamentals as they focus on concepts related to advertising, promotion, public relations, marketing research and data analytics, online/digital marketing, and international marketing management. As a result, students gain valuable insight into all aspects of marketing from an online, local, and international perspective.

This program is designed to prepare university and college graduates from a wide range of educational and cultural backgrounds to work as managers in international and domestic businesses of various size. Students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to manage the human, physical, and financial resources associated with international trade. The first year covers fundamental business knowledge and skills, while more complex international situations and strategic areas are the focus of the second year. The course of study promotes teamwork and leadership skills, and enhances students’ capacity to work effectively in cross-cultural environments.

Students are instructed in the use of current Web and Internet technologies to create innovative, interactive products for a variety of users, platforms, and devices. They are taught to plan, design, and develop engaging and intuitive user interfaces. Courses cover the use of current technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, the Document Object Model (DOM), Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and a variety of popular scripting frameworks. With a focus on user-centred design, students apply human-computer interaction principles, standards-based technologies, and web application best practices to create an accessible, usable, and captivating user experience

This program offers the student an introduction to college studies, with emphasis on critical thinking and analytical skills developed while studying courses in the Social Sciences and Humanities. Many students use the General Arts and Science program as a transition to further studies at either the college or university level. Students can also choose to continue from the one-year certificate to the two-year diploma in General Arts and Science.

This program is designed to assist Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) to work as part of an inter-professional healthcare team in geriatric and palliative care settings. Students acquire the knowledge and expertise to enhance an individual’s quality of living and dying as part of an end of life process.  To meet the individual needs of the client during this transitional phase of their life, students examine current theories and explore best practices to build skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Through a combination of classroom instruction and lab, students focus on the importance of communication, spirituality, ethics, law and culturally responsive nursing care for an aging or end-of-life population.  Students will have an opportunity to consolidate their classroom learning with one practicum placement in a variety of settings that may include hospital, community, home care or long term care.
