In this program, students focus on computer programming, web development and leveraging data to help organizations make meaningful business decisions. Throughout the program, students learn how to write code using a variety of languages such as Arduino, ASP.NET, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, SQL and Swift. Students gain experience developing software for diverse platforms including embedded systems, desktop, mobile, and mainframe systems. In addition, students are exposed to advanced concepts including systems analysis, Business Intelligence (BI), application security, data structures, and game and simulation programming. With a strong emphasis on business and entrepreneurial values, students gain experience in problem solving, troubleshooting and systems building through a series of applied assignments, projects, and co-op work terms.

An accounting education helps you to understand “the numbers” which is critical to the success of every type of business. If you are a logical thinker and enjoy the challenge of unravelling the mystery of numbers then this program is for you. In this increasingly complex and competitive business environment, accounting skills are very much in demand.

The program provides a foundation in all of the functional business areas and a comprehensive education in specific accounting practices and theory. Through a strong focus on application, students develop the skills needed for success in the business world; analytical thinking, problem solving, communication and teamwork. Students graduate ready to enter the workforce and support the accounting activities of any organization.

Students acquire the knowledge and skills required to perform in the administrative health field. Students learn document production, medical terminology, transcription, electronic health records, human anatomy, as well as courses in communication and social sciences. Students have the opportunity for hands-on learning.

Initially, students in all Office Administration streams enroll in a common first semester. Eligible students in this program are offered the opportunity for office experience within the health services community.

This program specializes in creating interior environments in the context of professional interior design standards and practice. The curriculum emphasizes space planning and management, design process, research methodologies, socially responsible design, building systems, technological applications, contract documentation, and interior design presentation. Sustainable practices, entrepreneurship models, and regulatory codes are integrated throughout the curriculum. The curriculum is designed to meet current Council for Interior Design Accreditation's (CIDA) standards of delivery and content. Our program offers a uniquely collaborative learning experience which facilitates a hands-on model incorporating creative development, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and teaming protocols, providing our graduates with exceptional interior design knowledge and skills.

The global population needs a constant supply of goods and services. To respond to these demands in a way that is cost-effective and time-sensitive requires the skilled input of supply chain practitioners: professionals and leaders who can apply logistical planning strategies, troubleshoot problems, and provide support throughout the global and domestic trade networks. Within this program, students prepare for rewarding careers in supply chain management and logistics, as they develop specialized technical knowledge and skills through practical learning activities, simulations, and guest speakers. Students gain global supply chain competencies by examining the connections between strategic objectives, stakeholder expectations, and supply chain design, functions, processes, and roles. 

In this program, students are prepared with the knowledge, skills and professional competencies required for the Esthetics Industry. Students in this program are able to provide spa modalities, such as make up and specialized skin, body and hand/foot treatments. In addition, business applications required to run a small business are emphasized. This program has been designed with the intent to academically prepare students for international testing and to inspire a passion for the health and wellness industry.

In this program, students are provided with both the technical and visual communication skills required for a variety of careers related to photography and imaging. The three main areas of focus are digital capture, imaging technologies, and entrepreneurial skills. Students use industry standard hardware and software to capture and manipulate images in a way that demonstrates their skill and creativity. Students learn how to integrate digital imaging techniques with the fundamentals of photography in order to create images that communicate effectively and meet the needs of a client. Furthermore, students develop business and career development skills that are relevant to the digital photography and imaging industries.

Students acquire a comprehensive foundation in museum and gallery work. They develop capabilities in the main technical areas common to all museums and galleries: conservation and collections management, exhibition design, public programming, and administration. Students advance their existing knowledge through a blend of engaging academic instruction and experiential learning opportunities such as technical practice and an internship.

The program curriculum incorporates theory applications and practical experience from the generation, distribution, utilities and automation industries. Concepts from the sciences and humanities are emphasized to ensure that the graduate is provided with current technical knowledge, skills, and practice.

Students are prepared to manage a food services department while adhering to professional standards, quality management programs, nutritional and healthy living principles and marketing and promotional activities. In addition, graduates are able to employ a number of more complex functions supporting organizational effectiveness including supporting the design of food and nutrition human resource plan, financial analysis and control, and collaborating in the preparation of an organization's business plan or client care plan. Students apply research competencies to the assessment, analysis and problem solving with regard to nutritional needs and diagnoses.

Program Learning Outcomes

• The graduate has reliably demonstrated the ability to:
  • plan menus to accommodate the nutritional, dietary and medical needs, cultural and religious requirements, and personal preferences of clients;
  • manage handling, preparation and service of food to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and industry best practices for health, safety, sanitation, quality assurance and client satisfaction;
  • manage nutritional needs of diverse clients in health care and other food service settings in collaboration with or under the direction of health care professionals;
  • support others to work professionally and ethically in accordance with industry, organization and legal standards;
  • monitor relevant local, national and global trends, emerging technologies, changes to legislation and best practices to enhance work performance that may impact the management and delivery of food and nutrition services;
  • deliver customer service that anticipates, meets and/or exceeds individual expectations and is consistent with organization standards and objectives;
