This two-year program will give students a comprehensive education in the design theory and technical and aesthetic skills required by the jewellery and metals industry for entry level positions. The emphasis in Semesters 1 and 2 is on basic information and techniques as related to jewellery. Advanced jewellery techniques will be learned as well as hollowware and flatware in Semester 3 and 4. Note: Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for the post-graduate diploma program of GLDS Goldsmithing and Silversmithing.

Student centered faculty focus on delivering innovative curriculum, industry expertise and employability skills in the pillars of the hospitality industry; entrepreneurial thinking, accounting and finance, marketing and sales, food and beverage, accommodations and human resources management.

This program prepares students for careers involving the development, evaluation, and support of IT security solutions. Building on previous educational experience, students learn to create cost effective and secure computing environments. Graduates are able to categorize, design, implement, and integrate technical and managerial safeguards to ensure the security of networked computer systems. An emphasis will be placed on interpersonal, organizational, technical, communication, and problem-solving skills applied to enhance the effective implementation of security in a business environment.

Students are prepared to assist in a wide variety of entry-level office settings by gaining skills and knowledge to support the management of an organization. By learning three key and interdependent functions: organization, processing information, and communication, students achieve a solid foundation to allow for further educational growth. Students may elect to transition for an additional year into enhanced and specialized learning leading to an Office Administration–Health Services or Office Administration-Executive diploma.

Initially, students in all Office Administration streams enroll in a common first semester. In their second semester, they have course selection options to complement the prescribed general curriculum. Students' interests, skills, and career goals may lead to year 2 of the Office Administration – Health Services or Office Administration-Executive diploma.

Students safely set-up and operate standard machine tools and complex machining equipment, such as CNC lathes and mills. Knowledge and skills learned are used to repair or manufacture components, assist with design of jigs, fixtures, tools, moulds and dies and perform troubleshooting to enact repairs on production tooling. Students use accurate testing methods to ensure accuracy of manufactured components.

This program specializes in creating interior environments in the context of professional interior design standards and practice. The curriculum emphasizes space planning and management, design process, research methodologies, socially responsible design, building systems, technological applications, contract documentation, and interior design presentation. Sustainable practices, entrepreneurship models, and regulatory codes are integrated throughout the curriculum. The curriculum is designed to meet current Council for Interior Design Accreditation's (CIDA) standards of delivery and content. Our program offers a uniquely collaborative learning experience which facilitates a hands-on model incorporating creative development, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and teaming protocols, providing our graduates with exceptional interior design knowledge and skills.

Students focus their learning on acquiring knowledge and skills in administrative-based courses by the use of diverse technology to be able to effectively perform in an executive environment. Students have the opportunity to develop supervisory, leadership, and training skills.

Students in all Office Administration streams enroll in a common first semester. As they gain experience and background, they have course selection options to complement prescribed office administration curriculum and further their interests, skills, and career goals.

This program carefully balances theory and practice and parallels the two year Hospitality Management - Hotel and Resort program. The unique benefits of this program are the opportunity over 1000 hours of paid work experience, extensive experiential learning, and a strong student-centred learning environment. This program delivers innovative curriculum and develops employability and strategic management skills within the pillars of the hospitality industry:

Additionally, the third year focuses on developing effective professional management and leadership skills to enable students to compete for positions of responsibility in the next generation of the hospitality service industry.

This program is designed to prepare students for exciting employment opportunities in the $15 billion Canadian golf industry, both on the golf course and off. Theoretical concepts taught in the classroom are blended with practical learning opportunities gained through exposure to various golf facilities. At the golf course level, students examine the many aspects of golf operations such as agronomy, hospitality, retail and golf event planning. Away from the golf course, students have the opportunity to explore a variety of career paths at facilities that support the game. Students gain professional and managerial skills for industry and self-employment, as well as practical experience through participation in a work term and extensive field trips to golf courses and golf industry properties.
