The three-year Business Administration program prepares graduates for a world of business and educational opportunities combining theoretical knowledge with practical application. For those looking to work for an existing corporation, to start their own business, or continue their education with one of Lambton's university pathways, this is the right program for you!

This program has been developed specifically for students to personalize their program of study to suit their abilities and interested and put them on the best possible path for employment. During the first year, students will participate in an active learning environment and be exposed to a curriculum that builds a solid knowledge base of the major areas of business. This lays a foundation for the areas of concentration and for the development of teamwork, leadership, and research skills.

Experiential Learning Opportunities
Because practical work experiences are vital, students are given the option to participate in a co-op work experience in term 5. This provides exposure to a business environment and could provide valuable work experience. In the final year of the program, students will take the entrepreneurship capstone courses which combine assessments and curriculum to challenge the students to utilize all of their knowledge, skills and abilities gained over the course of their program, in a series of culminating reports and presentations that showcase a capstone project. Real world corporate partners are engaged to provide students with even greater experiential learning opportunities.

The Lambton College Advanced Photography program is a two-year, Ontario College graduate certificate program that provides students with the opportunity to expand their skills to work as professionals in the ever-evolving field of photography. Student learn advanced photography and post-production skills, as well as, learn how to utilize drones for professional photographic images.

Our students prepare for this fast-paced and expanding career using modern digital photographic equipment in a state-of-the-art photography studio. The program is laptop-based and fully hybrid (a combination of both online and in-class learning), offering students the benefits of flexible learning.

In today's Canadian photography industry, entrepreneurial spirit along with working with clients is paramount. As such, the curriculum covers a broad range of topics, including design and composition, digital darkroom, lighting and camera skills, and full, robust portfolio development. At the core of the program is our state-of-practice photography and video studio, equipped with strobe, video and continuous light kits. Students work in this space both individually and as a group, using professional quality equipment.

The Full Stack Software Development program is an Ontario College Graduate Certificate that offers students the opportunity to study the most current trends in software development. This intensive, two-year program concludes with a work term for eligible students.

Software development includes three tiers - user interface, business logic, and database. Full Stack Software Developers have experience in front-end web development that includes the user interface (UI) for browsers and mobile devices and back-end development that includes developing software containing the business logic that accesses databases. Simply, full stack developers have an understanding of the presentation tier, business logic tier, and data tier of software development.

Front-end languages and technologies include HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, React and others to develop user interfaces. The business logic and database layers. The business logic uses server-side programming languages and frameworks such as Java, C# .NET, Python, Node.js and others. The database layer includes SQL and NoSQL, and MongoDB. Additionally, DevOps tools such as Git, GitHub, Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines are essential to build and release high quality software in a time efficient manner.

Students demonstrate their knowledge and skills by developing solutions to real world three-tier (client, server, and database) problems. Major term projects are assigned that span entire terms allowing students to actively engage in the evaluation, design, and implementation of real-world software applications. As a result, students develop deep content knowledge as well as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication skills.

The widespread use of computer technology in all industries, from manufacturing, transportation, construction, education, health and financial institutions means that full stack developers are the key people shaping the solutions of today and tomorrow. Graduates use their problem solving and critical thinking skills to analyze business and industry requirements and design, develop and implement real-life, database driven, enterprise web applications.

Co-op students have the opportunity to apply classroom learning to the workplace. Co-op placement opportunities help students gain valuable work experience that may assist them in finding permanent employment after they graduate. The Lambton College Advanced Project Management – Environmental, Ontario College Graduate Certificate prepares graduates for careers in project coordination and management in a variety of industries including environmental science, environmental engineering, urban planning and human geography, sustainability, and building science.

The program aligns itself with the PMI® A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) - Sixth Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 2017 and heavily utilizes foundational standards and practice frameworks prescribed by the Project Management Institute (PMI). This guide is currently being revised to PMI® A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) - Seventh Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 2021. Faculty are monitoring changes and will incorporate the principles of the new guide as it becomes available.

Students are introduced to the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing to a wide range of projects that focus on the environment and sustainability. In addition, students expand their business leadership skills through collaborative team projects, and further develop negotiation and communication skills. The use of project management software tools within an environmental context will enable students to meet the challenging demands of these complex fields.

In manufacturing today, there is a continuous need for employees with highly developed skills in testing, processing, and quality assurance of materials. In addition, employers are looking for management skills to plan, implement and coordinate in manufacturing facilities. Encompassing many areas of science, including material science, chemical and material engineering and chemistry, and combining business management curriculum, the Lambton College Applied Manufacturing Management - Advanced Materials Processing, Ontario College Graduate Certificate program provides students with real-world experiences to learn and apply the knowledge and skills required to study the properties and behaviours of engineering polymeric materials used in a range of manufacturing applications in Ontario, Canada, and abroad.

In the program, students develop skills in applied material science and manufacturing. Additional courses include hands-on introductions to chemical analysis, material characterization, composites, nanocomposites and polymers. In addition, students learn the underlying theoretical principles in materials processing and additive manufacturing. Graduates are technically skilled problem-solvers with well-developed business, ethics, communication and analytical skills that can be applied to future careers in advanced manufacturing technology for a variety of industrial, government or consulting organizations.

The Massage Therapy program at Lambton College is well-known provincially and nationally for producing highly qualified and successful Massage Therapists! Graduates of the Lambton College Massage Therapy program perform extremely well at the Provincial Registration exams year after year. In fact, in 2017 85% of the graduates successfully completed the registration exams to become Registered Massage Therapists in Ontario. Lambton College's advanced diploma program will equip students with the academic knowledge, hands on skills, and experiential learning opportunities needed to succeed as a regulated health professional.

The Lambton College Sport Business Management, Ontario College Graduate Certificate prepares graduates for careers in the exciting and ever changing sport business sector.

With a Canadian sport industry focus, the curriculum enables graduates to be leaders in management and operations in this exciting industry. The program’s curriculum prepares graduates with knowledge and skills in sport marketing, sales, sport sponsorship, event bidding and planning, facility operations, human resources, finance and administration. Experiential learning is built into the curriculum allowing students to apply skills and knowledge to projects with organizations and clients in the sport industry and expand their business leadership skills through collaborative team projects. Graduates may find employment in a variety of sport business professions.
