This Video Editing AEC course teaches the basics of television, compositing, audio mixing and the whole process of editing, from acquiring media to “mastering”. When you have graduated, you will be able to use your creativity as a junior or senior video editor for public, corporate and web television. You will be the editor who is most up to the challenge!

Beyond working with our AVID Media composer certified teacher to learn this key software for the industry, students of the Video Editing course will learn to master the Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Final cut.

As a graduate, you will be fully qualified to move up the ladder quickly, from production assistant to senior editor, and work on HD television programs and digital films. They think up and create the video game’s storyline and mechanics. The Computer Science Technology - Video Game Programming training program was developed with studios ranked among global video game leaders. You’ll acquire the knowledge necessary to secure a choice position in the video game industry.

You’ll be able to help design a Triple-A game, join a multidisciplinary team from an independent studio, produce a mobile app or even develop your own video game.

This video game programmer training uses the most popular programming tools in the industry (Unity, Unreal, C/C++/C#, Gameplay), allowing you to learn programming fundamentals, as well as the particularities specific to video games. You will also learn how to develop your communication skills in relation to the specific field of video games.

Your knowledge, both in terms of tourist and cultural attractions and travel sales and communication techniques, will be an asset on the job market.

With a core curriculum of study, the Food Service Management program opens the door to a wider array of careers in Québec, Canada or abroad. This program is unique in Québec.

This program focuses on the essential knowledge of food service and catering. Teachers from the industry provide all the keys to success to enter into the labor market. The program also offers an internship, participation in several events plus practical experience including: service in La Classe restaurant dining room. Students have the opportunity to interact with professionals during visits, conferences and events. Graduates of this program can pursue university studies.

The Early Childhood Education Program (AEC) is intended to train childcare educators to work with children from 0 to 12 years old. During their training, students will learn how to meet a child’s basic, psychological, as well as educational needs.

Students will also learn to establish a partnership with parents and partners in the field to understand the importance of discussing the necessary intervention with a child. The program will allow students to develop and further their professional knowledge, to be qualified under the Règlement sur les garderies and the Règlement sur les centres de la petite enfance. This program allows students to find work right after they graduate.

Since 2012, aspiring child care workers can gain a better understanding of the profession by collaborating to the success of the LaSalle des petits Daycare. They can observe and learn from the daycare’s work environment and, as a result, be better prepared for the job market.

Program Objectives
Graduates of the Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in Early Childhood Education Techniques will be able to use their skills in the childcare sector. This training, combined with three years of experience, will enable them to exercise their profession in early childhood educational environments in accordance with the Educational Childcare Act and its governing regulations.

In the Specialization in Business Intelligence program, students will learn about a company’s different departments and how they interact. They will learn about the design and modelling of an information system within the context of business intelligence.

This program will help students perfect their understanding of elements that interact with databases, such as the language SQL. They will also come to understand the challenges involved in data collection and learn how to practise data integration, analysis and visualization using business intelligence tools such as Microsoft’s BI suite.

This program will enable students to develop skills that will be applied to meet complex organizational needs and sustain an innovative culture.
