The Hotel Lodging Management night program (AEC) is designed as much for students interested in familiarizing themselves with the hotel industry as for those already working in the industry but wanting to advance in their careers.

This Video Editing AEC course teaches the basics of television, compositing, audio mixing and the whole process of editing, from acquiring media to “mastering”. When you have graduated, you will be able to use your creativity as a junior or senior video editor for public, corporate and web television. You will be the editor who is most up to the challenge!

Beyond working with our AVID Media composer certified teacher to learn this key software for the industry, students of the Video Editing course will learn to master the Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Final cut.

Today's digital and viral video landscape has created a massive need for video editors. As a graduate, you will be fully qualified to move up the ladder quickly, from production assistant to senior editor, and work on HD television programs and digital films. In the Specialization in Business Intelligence program, students will learn about a company’s different departments and how they interact. They will learn about the design and modelling of an information system within the context of business intelligence.

This program will help students perfect their understanding of elements that interact with databases, such as the language SQL. They will also come to understand the challenges involved in data collection and learn how to practise data integration, analysis and visualization using business intelligence tools such as Microsoft’s BI suite.

The Computer Science Technology DEC, with a Network and Security Management profile, was developed in partnership with key industry players. It will help you gain all the skills necessary to manage physical and cloud networks. You will also learn key cybersecurity concepts, one of the current priorities in IT.

Thanks primarily to Cisco, Microsoft and Linux technologies, it will help you develop your computer skills and knowledge for implementing, managing and monitoring computer networks.

The frequently updated Computer Science Technology courses, with a Network and Security Management profile, lead to a number of certifications recognized by the job market including: CISCO (CCNA and CCNP), CompTIA (A+), Microsoft (MCSA) and LPIC.

Designed to meet the growing needs of the business community, the AEC Transport Logistics is aimed at people who have an interest in transport management and the supply chain, wishing to make a rich and dynamic career, practicing at the International scale.

LaSalle College’s Managing Senior-Citizen Homes program is designed to keep pace with the projected development and consolidation in the senior citizen housing network, a rapidly-growing industry.

According to the Institut de la statistique du Québec, the number of people above age 65 will double over the next 20 years. Consequently, the demand for retirement homes will increase significantly.
