The Arts, Literature and Communication program is a pre-university program for those who wish to experience media production while enriching their general knowledge in order to better understand and appreciate the different media.

During their DEC in Arts, Letters and Communication - Media, students take part in the vibrant cultural life of Montreal by visiting institutions as well as unusual places. In addition, they are called upon to participate in media events while taking advantage of the city's intercultural environment. These experiences allow them to exercise their critical thinking and broaden their horizons on the impact of the media in our society. In addition to becoming an expert in technical and architectural drawings, 3D models and working drawings, students will develop their own style and expand their creativity. They will then be able to:

• Select materials, finishes and colors that are best suited to a project’s requirements
• Design unique, custom, ergonomic furniture
• Create the desired ambiance using lighting tailored to the room they are designing

Trends are always evolving in the interior design industry. That’s why the three-year DEC in Interior Design is taught by well-known professionals who still work in the field. At the end of their training, students will know how to:

• Create visually appealing, functional and safe interior design concepts for residential, commercial, cultural and industrial projects
• Use popular industry software like SketchUp, AutoCAD, Autodesk 3ds Max, Autodesk Revit, etc.
• Complete interior design projects that comply with current regulations and industry standards

During their training, students will be able to present their final project to industry professionals, complete an internship and build their portfolio. They will arrive on the job market with concrete experience to show their employer or clients.

Throughout your studies in Arts, Literature and Communication - Arts option, you will take part in various artistic events such as visiting renowned institutions as well as alternative venues. Community managers are responsible for the organization’s brand—they take charge of its reputation and inform the company of the competition’s practices and industry trends. They analyze the situation to gauge the efficacy and functioning of the strategies in place, with the aim of improving future actions.

The Social media strategy AEC teaches students how to develop, write and optimize promotional texts online, communicate with different web communities, and prevent and manage crises.

The Early Childhood Education program (DEC) is designed to train childcare educators to work with children from 0 to 12 years old. With this training students will enhance their professional expertise in accordance with the Educational Childcare Act and its governing regulations.

During their training, students will learn how to meet a child’s basic, psychological, as well as educational needs. They will also learn to establish a partnership with parents and partners in the field to understand the importance of discussing necessary interventions with a child.

The Accounting and Management Technology program (DEC) trains students in various aspects of management, including supplies, sales, accounting, finance, market development, international commercial transactions, and supervision of personnel.

Knowledge of these concepts provides students with the skills to participate fully in the accounting cycle and provide technical support in the computer-assisted management of a business. In addition, the content of this program provides a concrete perspective of business realities, due to careful study and comprehension of the parameters affecting management and accounting.

The Accounting and Management Technology program (DEC) is geared towards developing versatile technicians capable of intervening at any stage in the accounting cycle and providing technical support to businesses’ computerized management.

This intensive Residential real estate broker 2-semester training (AEC) is tailored for people interested in real estate and looking for a dynamic career.

This program trains students to execute all the tasks and functions required of a residential real estate broker. Working as intermediaries between buyers and sellers throughout all stages of the real estate transaction, real estate brokers advise, counsel and support clients.
