From Fall 2020, Hotel Management Technique students will have the option to divide their time between the College and an employer establishment to receive practical, concrete and paid field training. LaSalle College’s Work-Integrated Learning – Remunerated option is unique in Montréal.

This DEC also offers practical experience through service and supervision classes in our restaurant-school La Classe, at several major events and conferences, and on courses and professional visits. This enables our students to be versatile and form ties with people in the industry.

The Accounting and Management Technology program (AEC) is designed for students looking for a promising career in finance and accounting

Its purpose is to teach all the tasks and functions of this profession. In accounting, students will learn how to be involved in all steps of the accounting cycle, whereas in management, students will learn how to provide support and management assistance in the human resources, financial, and technical departments of a business.

As soon as students graduate, they will have numerous opportunities and will be assured employment, as this profession exists in all economic sectors and is always in great demand in the job market.

They think up and create the video game’s storyline and mechanics. In the Specialization in Business Intelligence program, students will learn about a company’s different departments and how they interact. They will learn about the design and modelling of an information system within the context of business intelligence.

They will also come to understand the challenges involved in data collection and learn how to practise data integration, analysis and visualization using business intelligence tools such as Microsoft’s BI suite.

The Computer Science Technology - Video Game Programming training program was developed with studios ranked among global video game leaders. You’ll acquire the knowledge necessary to secure a choice position in the video game industry.

You’ll be able to help design a Triple-A game, join a multidisciplinary team from an independent studio, produce a mobile app or even develop your own video game.

This video game programmer training uses the most popular programming tools in the industry (Unity, Unreal, C/C++/C#, Gameplay), allowing you to learn programming fundamentals, as well as the particularities specific to video games. You will also learn how to develop your communication skills in relation to the specific field of video games.

The Human Sciences - Civilization and Citizenship (DEC) course is designed for those seeking the acquisition of fundamental and versatile skills, necessary for the pursuit of university studies.

It allows to acquire a solid training in human sciences centered on the international reality, with the help of disciplines such as geography, history, economy, politics, psychology as well as sociology. During this training, the student learns to identify, analyze and explain the major issues of the contemporary international situation.

The program has three profiles: Civilization and Citizenship, International Management and Individual and Society. The first allows the acquisition of training focused on international reality; the second is an initiation to the basic principles of management and mathematics; the third meets the university prerequisites for psychology and psychoeducation programs.

The Computer Science Technology DEC, with a Network and Security Management profile, was developed in partnership with key industry players. It will help you gain all the skills necessary to manage physical and cloud networks. You will also learn key cybersecurity concepts, one of the current priorities in IT.

Designed to meet the growing needs of the business community, the AEC Transport Logistics is aimed at people who have an interest in transport management and the supply chain, wishing to make a rich and dynamic career, practicing at the International scale.

The courses of the Transport Logistics program train first-level technicians, autonomous, versatile and competent in their field, able to find concrete and profitable solutions to overcome problems.

During the program, students learn to perform tasks related to carrying out different stages of the transport logistics process and acquire the skills to work in the transport and supply industry.
