Students who desire careers as Early Childhood Educator IIs (ECE IIs) will acquire the knowledge and skills required to work with children, aged newborn to 12 years old, through this provincially accredited* and comprehensive diploma program.

Students in MITT’s CDCA diploma program train for these vital roles, gaining specialized and in-demand knowledge and skills through hands-on learning with industry standard hardware and software so they can:
Perform IT network analysis. Identify anomalous activity and potential threats to resources. Design and implement appropriate courses of actions using industry standard computer network defence tools. Perform virtualization and secure integration of cloud services into existing IT infrastructures.
CDCA students are concurrently enrolled in the Cisco Networking Academy and completed credits can be used as prerequisites for further Cisco training. The program is a Check Point Secure Academy, a member of the VMWare IT Academic Program, and a CompTIA Associate.

Post-Graduate Certificate in Business Management
Do you want to take your professional experience to the next level? This foundational credential is designed for both internationally educated students and experienced Canadian individuals who do not have a background in business principles, and students who may need advanced skills to move into or expand on management careers. Students will examine introductory business, economics, finance and management practices, with an emphasis on applied concepts typically encountered in Canadian workplaces.
The Business Management certificate can be used as a prerequisite for admission to MITT Post-Graduate Diploma programs. Students that complete this 12-month program will receive advanced standing for the first term of a diploma. That means you will already have the credits for the first four courses, and will earn a one-term scheduled academic break before continuing your studies.
This makes it possible to apply for two post-graduate programs at once—the Business Management Certificate plus a diploma of your choice. Progression to the diploma is based on successful completion of the certificate.

MITT’s Industrial Welding certificate program helps students build a strong foundation of the knowledge and skills required to design and build products by cutting and joining materials using ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Students work independently or in teams using current welding and fabrication equipment to complete projects in a learning environment that simulates an industrial welding shop. To complement their technical skills with the employability and essential skills employers demand, all students participate in MITT’s Work Skills Series workshops.
This program is affiliated with CWA (Canadian Welding Association), CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) and Apprenticeship Manitoba. Students who successfully complete the program and meet eligibility criteria can receive credit toward their continued apprenticeship path or earn select certifications through CWB. Graduates who meet specific criteria can also earn credit toward Apprenticeship Manitoba Level 1.
