The Building Engineering Technology program is designed to train students in the analysis, design, drawing, detailing, and presentation of commercial building projects. The first year of training covers engineering technology basics such as engineering science, materials technology, surveying, and computer-aided drafting. Many courses are common with other technology programs and may be used for credit transfer. In the second year, students specialize in subjects that relate more specifically to building engineering.

Throughout the program, students will learn and apply the knowledge and skills in a real, practical, and simulated environment through lectures, extensive hands-on activities, and individual or team projects.

Programmer Analysts are specialists in computer programming. They design and develop software systems and then learn how to apply them in a business-oriented environment. You’ll learn essential information technology skills and how to program for businesses. Upon graduation, we offer a work practicum at an employer's site. There's no speaking in code here - computer technology dominates industries. Programmer Analysts find meaningful work quickly in diverse fields, including: information technology, manufacturing, and education.

In our Business Administration: Accounting program, you will learn core fundamentals of business administration such as marketing, economics and business communication. You will gain intermediate accounting knowledge to prepare and present financial statements according to reporting standards. You will learn critical aspects of business operations such as budgeting, assessing financial risk, managing cash flow, analyzing and reporting various performance measurements. You will have the opportunity to take electives such as Personal Tax or Payroll. Our core courses receive credits towards the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) designation. Our program also includes a work practicum where you’ll have the opportunity to put your knowledge into action.

An accelerated study option is available for this program beginning in April. Students enrolled in this option continue their studies throughout the entire calendar year, enabling them to complete the program requirements within 20 months of full-time study.
