The Educational Support program prepares learners for a career in educational settings supporting students with learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, sensory or physical disabilities and behavioural challenges. This program will prepare learners to be part of a multidisciplinary team that supports students with diverse learning needs while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment that promotes students’ well-being.

Within this two-year diploma program, learners also participate in experiential and applied learning opportunities that allow further integration of theory and application.

They are relied upon for their expertise at electrical systems installation and operation. In accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code and the National Building Code, you’ll learn fundamental wiring practices, pipe threading and bending techniques, cable tray installation, and other necessary skills. With smart technology on the rise, trained Electricians are value-added members of modern construction teams. 

Automotive Service Technicians are vehicle surgeons. They know how to diagnose, service and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including: steering, electrical, suspension, brakes, engines, fuel, exhaust, electronics and accessories for these systems. You’ll become an expert in vehicle anatomy and you’ll learn how to master shop tools and techniques such as brazing, cutting, and welding. With half a million vehicles on the road in New Brunswick, Automotive Service Technicians have their work lined up.

Construction Managers take the lead on major builds. They make tough decisions and see a construction deal through from the blueprint design and contracts phase to a top quality finished structure on time and on budget. You'll learn construction principles and practices, the basics of building engineering technology, and equipment and management-related skills. You’ll learn about risk and return, portfolio evaluation, securities terminology, market operations, financial planning, the psychology of investing, insurance basics, and sales techniques. The Business Administration: Financial Management program will prepare you to write the Canadian Securities Course Examination or the Canadian Investment Funds Exam. Graduates of the two-year Business Administration program who have achieved a minimum of a 70% average each program year may be able to transfer into the third year of a four-year degree program at Cape Breton University (CBU) or the University of New Brunswick Saint John (UNBSJ). NBCC is committed to furthering our university relationships; therefore, other university agreements may be available.

July 1, 2014 marked a dramatic change in the practice of pharmacy in New Brunswick. As pharmacists expand their scope, spending increasing amounts of time in direct patient care, the opportunity for pharmacy technicians to take more responsibility in patient care has created a need for regulation of pharmacy technicians. Our program, nationally accredited by the Canadian Council of Accreditation for Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP), combines an exciting blend of theory, lab classes and applied workplace experiences in hospital and community pharmacies. You will learn the technical facets of pharmacy practices that will ensure a high standard of patient care and the safe distribution of drug products in varied practice settings.
