Mechanical Technicians are experts in mechanical devices and manufacturing. They have a unique skill set that shares common practices with Industrial Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering Technologists. You'll learn the basic functions of pipefitting, welding, rigging, electrical and machining. Our programs offers hands-on training in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, cooling and exhaust systems in industrial plants. Mechanical Technicians have a wide training base that offers employers two specialized forms of knowledge in a competitive job market.

Security violations, data breaches, and privacy failures are an ever-growing threat to businesses and individuals. Through classroom theory and hands-on projects in our advanced diploma program, you'll learn how to identify, analyze, and mitigate threats to internal IT systems and/or networks. You'll explore the systems, tools, and concepts used to minimize the risk to an organization's cyberspace, and the standards and procedures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and information systems. Chemical Technologists focus on quality assurance and problem-solving. They install and maintain complex equipment and conduct sophisticated chemical analyses. Work settings may include labs, offices, or fieldwork. As a key member of a scientific team, you’ll learn the skills to excel in chemical research, pilot-plant operations, quality control, and process industries. Your frequent participation in co-op work terms will allow you to put your knowledge to practice while learning about unique client needs.

Auto Body and Collision Technicians see cars as canvases. They are detailed artists who repair and restore damaged motor vehicle body parts and interior finishing components, repaint body surfaces and repair and replace automotive glass. You’ll learn how to prime, paint, weld, apply body filler application, conduct fibreglass repair, as well as how to operate manual, electric and pneumatic tools. Our fully-equipped shop will let you exercise your creative skills by designing mock-ups and working on real customer vehicles.

The Steamfitter/Pipefitter trade is unique because it's the only one that specializes in the planning, design, and installation of low and high pressure steam systems and installation methods for each. They build, maintain and repair piping systems that carry just about anything that can be transported through a pipe: water, steam, fluids, gasses, chemicals, fuels, woodchips, etc.

This program will give you entry-level knowledge and practical experience required to pursue a career as a steamfitter/ pipefitter. You'll learn to assemble, install, maintain and repair pipes carrying water, steam chemicals and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating and other process piping systems. Hoisting, lifting and rigging are also part of the curriculum. Trade theory and practical experience is supported by courses in communications and mathematics. Workplace safety is emphasized.

July 1, 2014 marked a dramatic change in the practice of pharmacy in New Brunswick. As pharmacists expand their scope, spending increasing amounts of time in direct patient care, the opportunity for pharmacy technicians to take more responsibility in patient care has created a need for regulation of pharmacy technicians. Our program, nationally accredited by the Canadian Council of Accreditation for Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP), combines an exciting blend of theory, lab classes and applied workplace experiences in hospital and community pharmacies. You will learn the technical facets of pharmacy practices that will ensure a high standard of patient care and the safe distribution of drug products in varied practice settings.
