Our Justice Studies: Corrections program is designed to provide students the knowledge and skills required for individuals aspiring to a career as a Correctional Officer or other related fields of criminal justice. Everything we teach meets current industry standards, and our students are trained in areas of intervention, prevention, rehabilitative strategies and reintegration, preparing you to work in a diverse variety of institutional and community settings.

Industrial Control Technologists are passionate about machines and appreciate the mechanics of production. They stay updated on the latest industrial hardware and software. You’ll learn how to repair, maintain, calibrate, adjust and install industrial measuring and control equipment. Our program also offers paid work placements and advanced training in writing specifications for required equipment, equipment purchasing, and quality testing. Carpentry is a performance-driven career. Carpenters work with their hands to construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures for residential and light commercial use. In addition to practical skills such as framing walls, siding and drywall installation, constructing wooden forms for pouring concrete, and erecting scaffolding, you’ll also learn about codes, standards, and quality concepts that apply to carpentry. As experts in home and business improvement, carpenters are called upon to make dreams possible and lives easier and more enjoyable.

Electronics Engineering Technologists are always plugged in. They know how to diagnose and solve electronic system issues and develop best practices. You'll learn how to design, commission, test, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain and support electronic systems. During your second year, further specialization is available in communication systems and biomedical systems at our Saint John campus, and industrial controls at our Moncton campus. In this wired world, Electronics Engineering Technologists are never short on work.

Machinists are skilled craftspersons who use precision metal cutting and grinding machines to fabricate high quality parts. They understand the methods behind using a variety of tools to measure, cut, drill, form, shape, grind and finish metal, plastic or similar materials. You’ll learn how to produce parts based on engineered drawings and how to diagnose mechanical malfunctions. In a heightened world of industrial production, businesses rely on machinists to maximize overall performance and output.

Motor Vehicle Body Repairers and Painters see cars as canvases. They are detailed artists who repair and restore damaged motor vehicle body parts and interior finishing components, repaint body surfaces and repair and replace automotive glass. You’ll learn how to prime, paint, weld, apply body filler application, conduct fibreglass repair, as well as how to operate manual, electric and pneumatic tools. Our fully-equipped shop will let you exercise your creative skills by designing mock-ups and working on real customer vehicles.

The Human Service Practitioner program prepares learners for a career in the field of human services.  Graduates will work alongside individuals, their families and their communities, playing an active role in assisting them to meet their needs and increase participation in society. The program focuses on assisting vulnerable individuals with complex needs who are experiencing challenges in daily life.
Learners will acquire knowledge and skills in strength-based individualized and group programming, communication, human development, exceptionalities, counselling strategies, ethical conduct, crisis response and behavioural change. This knowledge will be integral to assisting individuals to develop and keep valued social roles.
 
Within this diploma program, learners also participate in experiential and applied learning opportunities that will allow for the integration of theory and application of concepts.

Our two to three year Mechanical Engineering Technology program trains you to provide technical support and services in the design, development, maintenance and testing of machines, components, tools, heating and ventilation systems. In your first year, you'll learn the basics of mechanical engineering technology.
