You’ll learn how to design, implement, troubleshoot and administer secure networks and internetworks, as well as advanced skills in network and internet operating systems, network infrastructure, administration, and security. Please note: Students who have successfully completed the Network Support program have the opportunity to enter directly into the second year of the Network Administration program.

Note: An accelerated study option is available for this program beginning in April. Students enrolled in this option continue their studies throughout the entire calendar year, enabling them to complete the program requirements within 20 months of full-time study.

The one-year Applied Energy Management Graduate Certificate program is designed for graduates with an engineering degree or diploma to further their education and seek an opportunity for effective energy management in the commercial building industry. This program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary for the growing workforce needs in energy management, energy auditing, innovation, entrepreneurship, and design and development of efficient new energy systems for a commercial building or facility.

The program offers a broad range of skill-based training in commercial building automation, efficient building operation, energy auditing, and energy management including solar energy. Students will learn to apply new energy-efficient technologies and innovative solutions to conservation, sustainability, and management of energy and efficiency for ventilation, heating and cooling, lighting, office equipment, and building automation and control systems in commercial buildings. Students will also learn how to perform energy assessments and cost-benefit analysis, work on energy management practices, and plan and create an energy solution for a commercial building. Through classroom theory and hands-on activities, students will learn how to apply those commercial building energy management concepts to an actual commercial building operation.

Mechanical Technicians are experts in mechanical devices and manufacturing. They have a unique skill set that shares common practices with Industrial Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering Technologists. You'll learn the basic functions of pipefitting, welding, rigging, electrical and machining. Our programs offers hands-on training in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, cooling and exhaust systems in industrial plants. Mechanical Technicians have a wide training base that offers employers two specialized forms of knowledge in a competitive job market.

Motor Vehicle Body Repairers and Painters see cars as canvases. They are detailed artists who repair and restore damaged motor vehicle body parts and interior finishing components, repaint body surfaces and repair and replace automotive glass. You’ll learn how to prime, paint, weld, apply body filler application, conduct fibreglass repair, as well as how to operate manual, electric and pneumatic tools. Our fully-equipped shop will let you exercise your creative skills by designing mock-ups and working on real customer vehicles.

The Community Pharmacy Assistant program is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to be employed as a pharmacy assistant in a community pharmacy setting.

Areas of study include anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, communication skills, pharmacy law and ethics, pharmacy calculations, non-sterile compounding techniques, long term care pharmacy, receiving and entering a prescription, pharmacy software, inventory and third-party billing. Interpersonal communication skills is developed and evaluated along with other related skills in laboratory sessions on campus and during the practicum period.

Keep the wheels in motion. Our two to three year Mechanical Engineering Technology program trains you to provide technical support and services in the design, development, maintenance and testing of machines, components, tools, heating and ventilation systems. In your first year, you'll learn the basics of mechanical engineering technology. In your second year, you'll learn advanced machine design, computer-aided drawings and specifications, building systems including HVAC, and engineering manufacturing operations and processes.

Accounting basics are central to good business. With this program, you’ll learn intermediate accounting knowledge to assist your clients, such as how to prepare and present financial statements and skills in marketing, payroll, computing, and accounts receivable and payable. Our program also includes a work practicum where you’ll have the opportunity to put your knowledge into action while networking with influential people. Early Childhood Educators are focused on developing holistic education programs. You'll learn to design and facilitate children’s activities while encouraging interpersonal behaviour and inclusivity.
