Automotive Service Technicians are vehicle surgeons. They know how to diagnose, service and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including: steering, electrical, suspension, brakes, engines, fuel, exhaust, electronics and accessories for these systems. You’ll become an expert in vehicle anatomy and you’ll learn how to master shop tools and techniques such as brazing, cutting, and welding. With half a million vehicles on the road in New Brunswick, Automotive Service Technicians have their work lined up.

Machinists are skilled craftspersons who use precision metal cutting and grinding machines to fabricate high quality parts. They understand the methods behind using a variety of tools to measure, cut, drill, form, shape, grind and finish metal, plastic or similar materials. You’ll learn how to produce parts based on engineered drawings and how to diagnose mechanical malfunctions. July 1, 2014 marked a dramatic change in the practice of pharmacy in New Brunswick. As pharmacists expand their scope, spending increasing amounts of time in direct patient care, the opportunity for pharmacy technicians to take more responsibility in patient care has created a need for regulation of pharmacy technicians. Our program, nationally accredited by the Canadian Council of Accreditation for Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP), combines an exciting blend of theory, lab classes and applied workplace experiences in hospital and community pharmacies. You will learn the technical facets of pharmacy practices that will ensure a high standard of patient care and the safe distribution of drug products in varied practice settings.

The Steamfitter/Pipefitter trade is unique because it's the only one that specializes in the planning, design, and installation of low and high pressure steam systems and installation methods for each. They build, maintain and repair piping systems that carry just about anything that can be transported through a pipe: water, steam, fluids, gasses, chemicals, fuels, woodchips, etc.

This program will give you entry-level knowledge and practical experience required to pursue a career as a steamfitter/ pipefitter. You'll learn to assemble, install, maintain and repair pipes carrying water, steam chemicals and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating and other process piping systems. Hoisting, lifting and rigging are also part of the curriculum. Trade theory and practical experience is supported by courses in communications and mathematics. Workplace safety is emphasized.

The Educational Support program prepares learners for a career in educational settings supporting students with learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, sensory or physical disabilities and behavioural challenges. This program will prepare learners to be part of a multidisciplinary team that supports students with diverse learning needs while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment that promotes students’ well-being.

Within this two-year diploma program, learners also participate in experiential and applied learning opportunities that allow further integration of theory and application.

Our two to three year Mechanical Engineering Technology program trains you to provide technical support and services in the design, development, maintenance and testing of machines, components, tools, heating and ventilation systems. In your first year, you'll learn the basics of mechanical engineering technology. In your second year, you'll learn advanced machine design, computer-aided drawings and specifications, building systems including HVAC, and engineering manufacturing operations and processes.
