The Community Pharmacy Assistant program is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to be employed as a pharmacy assistant in a community pharmacy setting.

Areas of study include anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, communication skills, pharmacy law and ethics, pharmacy calculations, non-sterile compounding techniques, long term care pharmacy, receiving and entering a prescription, pharmacy software, inventory and third-party billing. Interpersonal communication skills is developed and evaluated along with other related skills in laboratory sessions on campus and during the practicum period.

Automotive Service Technicians are vehicle surgeons. They know how to diagnose, service and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including: steering, electrical, suspension, brakes, engines, fuel, exhaust, electronics and accessories for these systems. You’ll become an expert in vehicle anatomy and you’ll learn how to master shop tools and techniques such as brazing, cutting, and welding. With half a million vehicles on the road in New Brunswick, Automotive Service Technicians have their work lined up.

Applied Manufacturing Methods is a post-graduate program. The program offers a broad range of skill-based training in all aspects of manufacturing processes, including design, computer modelling, 3D printing, reverse engineering, quality control and quality assurance in addition to the skills in communication, documentation, computer application, information technology, critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork to support the manufacturing activities of an organization.
 
This program provides students with up-to-date manufacturing techniques and processes with a focus on computer modelling and supporting technologies. Students will further gain a strong understanding of contemporary quality control, quality assurance and continuous improvement methodologies, and safety practices and procedures. Through classroom theory and hands-on activities, students will learn and practice their skills using industry-standard tools and equipment. 

Criminal Justice professionals train their minds and bodies to promote community wellbeing and help combat crime. You'll learn about human behaviour, criminology, communication, sociology, community policing, the criminal justice system, criminal law, policing interventions, restraint techniques, and emergency response. The Human Service Practitioner program prepares learners for a career in the field of human services.  Graduates will work alongside individuals, their families and their communities, playing an active role in assisting them to meet their needs and increase participation in society. The program focuses on assisting vulnerable individuals with complex needs who are experiencing challenges in daily life.
Learners will acquire knowledge and skills in strength-based individualized and group programming, communication, human development, exceptionalities, counselling strategies, ethical conduct, crisis response and behavioural change. This knowledge will be integral to assisting individuals to develop and keep valued social roles.
 
Within this diploma program, learners also participate in experiential and applied learning opportunities that will allow for the integration of theory and application of concepts.

Through classroom theory and hands-on projects in our advanced diploma program, you'll learn how to identify, analyze, and mitigate threats to internal IT systems and/or networks. You'll explore the systems, tools, and concepts used to minimize the risk to an organization's cyberspace, and the standards and procedures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and information systems. As one of the world's fastest growing technology fields, the demand for cyber security professionals has never been greater.

Fuels Technicians are in charge of detailed operations. You'll learn how to install, operate, maintain, inspect and repair systems related to the distribution or consumption of natural gas, propane or oil. This program will provide you with the necessary instruction and practical experience to challenge the G2, G2-L (Liquid Propane Endorsement) Gas License and OBM Block 1 (Oil Burner Mechanic). Fuels Technicians inject safe and reliable expertise into the booming energy sector.

Executive administrative professionals work directly with company leaders. They are organized individuals who use their enhanced communication skills to create a professional work environment. In this program, you'll build upon the core abilities of the Administrative Professional program to perform at an executive level. You'll learn skills in word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, and accounting software applications, as well as how to create multimedia presentations and professional-quality publications. Our training and workplace experience will also provide you with expert problem solving, managerial, and interpersonal skills. CEOs are always on the lookout for qualified administrative professionals to assist with executive duties.

Plumbers see each water distribution and drainage system as an interesting challenge. They use hand and power tools to fix plumbing fixtures and install water systems. You’ll learn about hot water facilities and sewage systems, as well as how to assemble, install and repair pipes, fixtures and fittings. After learning how to interpret basic blueprints, you’ll have the necessary skills to layout a complete plumbing system according to specific building codes. Employment in plumbing is stable in every economic market and competent plumbers find work fast.

Networks connect businesses with the buying world. You’ll learn how to design, implement, troubleshoot and administer secure networks and internetworks, as well as advanced skills in network and internet operating systems, network infrastructure, administration, and security. As electronic communication continues to dominate industries, business leaders rely upon network administrators for success.

Please note: Students who have successfully completed the Network Support program have the opportunity to enter directly into the second year of the Network Administration program.
