The Community Pharmacy Assistant program is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to be employed as a pharmacy assistant in a community pharmacy setting.

Areas of study include anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, communication skills, pharmacy law and ethics, pharmacy calculations, non-sterile compounding techniques, long term care pharmacy, receiving and entering a prescription, pharmacy software, inventory and third-party billing. Interpersonal communication skills is developed and evaluated along with other related skills in laboratory sessions on campus and during the practicum period.

If you choose to continue your education in criminology or other related fields, your NBCC diploma is a great foundation. Graduates can, for example, apply their respective two-year NBCC diploma to be credited for up to two years of a four-year university degree making a seamless transition from college to university. The Steamfitter/Pipefitter trade is unique because it's the only one that specializes in the planning, design, and installation of low and high pressure steam systems and installation methods for each. They build, maintain and repair piping systems that carry just about anything that can be transported through a pipe: water, steam, fluids, gasses, chemicals, fuels, woodchips, etc.

This program will give you entry-level knowledge and practical experience required to pursue a career as a steamfitter/ pipefitter. You'll learn to assemble, install, maintain and repair pipes carrying water, steam chemicals and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating and other process piping systems. Hoisting, lifting and rigging are also part of the curriculum. Trade theory and practical experience is supported by courses in communications and mathematics. Workplace safety is emphasized.

Power Engineering Technicians are energy experts. They plan and solve problems in mills, power plants, oil production and many other industries. You'll learn how to design, produce and install power equipment and systems, and how to operate boilers, electrical generators and plant auxiliaries. We offer work experiences to practice your engineering, thermodynamic, applied mechanics, and electro-technology skills. The one-year Applied Energy Management Graduate Certificate program is designed for graduates with an engineering degree or diploma to further their education and seek an opportunity for effective energy management in the commercial building industry. This program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary for the growing workforce needs in energy management, energy auditing, innovation, entrepreneurship, and design and development of efficient new energy systems for a commercial building or facility.

The program offers a broad range of skill-based training in commercial building automation, efficient building operation, energy auditing, and energy management including solar energy. Students will learn to apply new energy-efficient technologies and innovative solutions to conservation, sustainability, and management of energy and efficiency for ventilation, heating and cooling, lighting, office equipment, and building automation and control systems in commercial buildings. Students will also learn how to perform energy assessments and cost-benefit analysis, work on energy management practices, and plan and create an energy solution for a commercial building. Through classroom theory and hands-on activities, students will learn how to apply those commercial building energy management concepts to an actual commercial building operation.

Automotive Service Technicians are vehicle surgeons. They know how to diagnose, service and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including: steering, electrical, suspension, brakes, engines, fuel, exhaust, electronics and accessories for these systems. You’ll become an expert in vehicle anatomy and you’ll learn how to master shop tools and techniques such as brazing, cutting, and welding. With half a million vehicles on the road in New Brunswick, Automotive Service Technicians have their work lined up.

The Human Service Practitioner program prepares learners for a career in the field of human services.  Graduates will work alongside individuals, their families and their communities, playing an active role in assisting them to meet their needs and increase participation in society. The program focuses on assisting vulnerable individuals with complex needs who are experiencing challenges in daily life.
Learners will acquire knowledge and skills in strength-based individualized and group programming, communication, human development, exceptionalities, counselling strategies, ethical conduct, crisis response and behavioural change. This knowledge will be integral to assisting individuals to develop and keep valued social roles.
 
Within this diploma program, learners also participate in experiential and applied learning opportunities that will allow for the integration of theory and application of concepts.
