Businesses need individuals who can not only conduct advanced analyses, interpret their insights and recommend solutions but who can also act as a bridge between the business team and the data analyst. Our graduates establish business requirements and conduct advanced analyses to formulate innovative solutions that support business decisions and promote competitive advantage. They also possess the insight needed to fluently articulate a range of business matters to diverse stakeholders. They develop knowledge and skill in areas such as: business requirements, processes, strategy, and modeling, statistics, data programming and engineering, predictive analytics, Machine Learning, IoT/AoT, visualizations, and storytelling.

Power Engineering Technicians are energy experts. They plan and solve problems in mills, power plants, oil production and many other industries. You'll learn how to design, produce and install power equipment and systems, and how to operate boilers, electrical generators and plant auxiliaries. We offer work experiences to practice your engineering, thermodynamic, applied mechanics, and electro-technology skills. Specialized knowledge in power engineering offers many possible career settings, including: hospitals, breweries, oil sands, and hotels.

Accounting basics are central to good business. With this program, you’ll learn intermediate accounting knowledge to assist your clients, such as how to prepare and present financial statements and skills in marketing, payroll, computing, and accounts receivable and payable. Our program also includes a work practicum where you’ll have the opportunity to put your knowledge into action while networking with influential people. Mechanical Technicians are experts in mechanical devices and manufacturing. They have a unique skill set that shares common practices with Industrial Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering Technologists. You'll learn the basic functions of pipefitting, welding, rigging, electrical and machining. Our programs offers hands-on training in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, cooling and exhaust systems in industrial plants. Mechanical Technicians have a wide training base that offers employers two specialized forms of knowledge in a competitive job market.

Electrical Engineering is for those who are wired to wonder about how systems work. You'll learn how to design, commission, test, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and support systems. Our program offers further specialization in power distribution at our Saint John campus and alternate energy production and control at our Moncton campus. Electrical Engineering Technologists work wherever systems operate, including rewarding careers in diverse fields such as: medicine, telecommunications, aerospace, and computing.

The Educational Support program prepares learners for a career in educational settings supporting students with learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, sensory or physical disabilities and behavioural challenges. This program will prepare learners to be part of a multidisciplinary team that supports students with diverse learning needs while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment that promotes students’ well-being.

Within this two-year diploma program, learners also participate in experiential and applied learning opportunities that allow further integration of theory and application.

Canada’s justice system is diverse, providing many career paths for professionals who care about people and public safety. From private security to policing, corrections to community-based roles, we help protect communities, uphold the law and work with individuals who are involved, or at risk of becoming involved with the criminal justice system. Our Justice Studies: Corrections program is designed to provide students the knowledge and skills required for individuals aspiring to a career as a Correctional Officer or other related fields of criminal justice. Everything we teach meets current industry standards, and our students are trained in areas of intervention, prevention, rehabilitative strategies and reintegration, preparing you to work in a diverse variety of institutional and community settings.

Our program also offers two exciting workplace experiences that will allow students the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to real world situations.

If you choose to continue your education in criminology or other related fields, your NBCC diploma is a great foundation. Graduates can, for example, apply their respective two-year NBCC diploma to be credited for up to two years of a four-year university degree making a seamless transition from college to university. The Social Service Community Worker program prepares learners for a career in the social and human services fields. By working with and supporting the well-being of individuals, families, and communities, graduates can bring about meaningful change within society.

Learners acquire knowledge and ability in the areas of human development and relations, family dynamics and support, interpersonal communications, counseling, program planning, social policy and legislation, and advocacy. In this program, there’s a focus on how to effectively intervene and work with a diverse clientele who may be experiencing poverty, domestic violence, social, emotional, behavioral or mental health trauma, or other challenging life events.

Within this diploma program, learners also participate in experiential and applied learning opportunities that allow further integration of theory and application.

Criminal Justice professionals train their minds and bodies to promote community wellbeing and help combat crime.
