As a Motive Power Technician graduate with a focus on the automotive sector you can choose to operate your own automotive shop, or work as an Automotive Service Technician or Parts Manager at an automotive body shop or commercial dealership.

As a Television Production graduate, you are well-equipped to produce a wide variety of broadcast coverage for traditional, online and streaming outlets.

• Introduction to the radio, television, and film industries including hands-on learning opportunities offered in-studio and on-location and single and multi-camera training using the latest broadcast equipment.
• Facilities include a radio production training lab, fully HD television studio, digital radio broadcast studio and a $1-million high-definition (HD) production truck.
• LIVE weekly TV magazine show broadcasted and streamed in conjunction with Television Presentation students.

• Students complete term 1 through term 4 as a continual program with no term off. Graduates will have a 1 term head start on securing employment or potentially continuing their studies in other programs, while still receiving the same Ontario College Diploma as 2 year Recreation Therapy students.

• Complete the one-year General Arts and Science-College Exploration certificate and transfer to the two-year diploma program if desired.

Mechanical Engineering Technologists learn to work independently in the design, development, maintenance and testing of equipment and technologies. The program focuses on design and manufacturing with components of robotics and industrial controls – exactly what modern manufacturers are looking for in graduates and new employees.

Program Highlights:

• Practical experience via four co-op work terms.
• Machine design and analysis using mechanical engineering principles and computer modelling.
• Industrial automation – robotics, CNC, and PLC programming, and the interconnectivity of these devices.
• 3D modeling and 3D printing.
• Manufacturing process design and support – machining, metal forming process, hydraulics, pneumatics, other processes, lean manufacturing.
• Quality inspection and analysis of data.

The Healthcare Leadership and Management program helps students to develop their leadership ability and capacity to manage the multiple factors influencing healthcare at the organizational and system levels.
