Professional Child and Youth Care practitioners (CYCs) specialize in helping children, youth and families improve their lives. The Mechanical Techniques - Machine Shop (Machinist) program is designed to provide you with a strong foundation in the use of shop equipment and precision measuring instruments. As a student of this program, you will gain knowledge and hands-on skills with a wide variety of equipment including lathes, milling machines, and grinders, as well as precision measuring instruments, to support the production and repair of components in a mechnical environment.

Sault College`s Culinary Management program teaches you everything you need to know to develop a career as a Chef. Food demonstrations, lab work and lectures provide a dynamic learning environment. You will learn about contemporary and classical techniques, menu planning and food and beverage management. Opportunity for experiential learning takes place during the paid summer CO-OP placement, which enables you to hone your skills. Upon successful completion of your studies you will have the necessary tools to work within various sectors of the food-service industry.

Co-operative Education (Co-op) provides opportunities for you to learn beyond your classroom as you integrate relevant work
