This eight-month graduate certificate program focuses on the long-term economic, environmental and social value of sustainable business strategy.

This program is designed to meet the growing needs of professionals who can propose, measure and evaluate sustainability initiatives. You will learn to develop and implement economically viable, lean business strategies for existing organizations or pursue entrepreneurship in sustainability. As a student of this program, you will have access to our HELIX innovation incubator.

In this four-year honours bachelor degree, you will learn the critical knowledge and practical skills required for a successful career in information security. You will develop comprehensive knowledge of vulnerability and threat assessment, risk management, data analysis and network and operating system infrastructure. This program focuses on practical applications that solve a variety of technological threats including hackers, malware and data breaches.

Mandatory Degree Co-op
A work experience that includes at least one term in a formal work environment. Students must be in good standing and meet all identified requirements prior to participating in the work experience. The successful completion of the co-op work term(s) is required for graduation. Eligibility for participation does not guarantee that a work position will be secured. This two-year diploma program prepares you for a dynamic career in the property and casualty (general) insurance industry in Canada. Offered in cooperation with the Insurance Institute of Canada (IIC), this program is anchored on the fundamental aspects of both business and insurance and was designed with experts from several national insurance firms. Your learning will focus explicitly on brokerage, underwriting and claims.

This three-year advanced diploma program introduces you to a broad background in analog and digital electronics, software development, modern communications and control systems. Topics covered include electronic circuitry, diagnostic techniques, microcontrollers, process control and computer systems and networks, along with digital communications, control systems and mechatronics. During the final year, you will focus on applying the principles you have learned to design and testing electronic projects.

In this three-year advanced diploma program, you will increase your knowledge of design and engineering principles. You will learn to apply theories of design, production and marketing to gain an understanding of the steps necessary to commercialize a design idea. Your studies will introduce you to machining and production techniques, rapid prototyping, principles of mechanical design, engineering analysis, marketing, basic accounting practices, entrepreneurial skills, ergonomics, basic electricity and electronics, reverse engineering and product and design digitizing.

This program shares a common first and second semester curriculum with the Mechanical Techniques (Tool & Die/Mould Making) program. It shares a common third and fourth semester as the Mechanical Engineering Technician – Tool Design. This concept of laddering allows flexibility and options to increase levels of education incrementally.
