Mandatory Degree Work Term
A work experience that includes at least one term in a formal work environment. Students must be in good standing and meet all identified requirements prior to participating in the work experience. The successful completion of the work term(s) is required for graduation.  Eligibility for participation does not guarantee that a work position will be secured. Additional fees are required for the mandatory degree work term regardless of success in securing a work position.

In this eight-month graduate certificate program, you will work with innovative and disruptive technologies used in the financial service sector. The program’s expert faculty will outline best practices for product development and entrepreneurship and enhance your understanding of privacy, ethics and the regulatory landscape of financial technology. The program covers topics including cybersecurity, web application and mobile development as well as data analytics for financial services.

Fieldwork
Fieldwork is an integral element of your program that provides you with an opportunity to provide a real client a business recommendation for their business in the hospitality industry. The Cloud Architecture & Administration graduate certificate program will provide you with knowledge and skills to become an essential part of a modern information technology (IT) team. You will learn how to effectively and securely integrate IT infrastructure, including cloud services, internet of things devices and traditional on-premises equipment. You will also develop an understanding of potential issues with privacy and the law and how to mitigate those risks. During the program, you will gain essential leadership and management skills, providing opportunities for you to advance in your career.

An optional work-integrated learning experience will offer an opportunity to expand your learning and apply skills to real-life work settings. You will also work on a capstone project that integrates knowledge and skills obtained throughout the program.

This two-year diploma program will introduce you to modern manufacturing techniques including programming and Computer Assisted Manufacturing (CAM). You will study both theory and practical aspects of modern metal machining and cutting while focusing on programming, advanced manufacturing techniques and interpreting engineering drawings. Upon completion of this program, you may begin an apprenticeship with an employer as a general machinist, tool and die maker, or mould maker.

Graduates of this program work in a range of employment settings in the manufacturing industries; examples include aerospace and defence, automotive, building products, fabricated metal products, machinery, railway and marine and natural resource industries like energy, forestry and mining.

In this three-year advanced diploma program you will concentrate on the complexities that are involved in the movement and marketing of products and services internationally. You will build a foundation of general business knowledge and applications. Your learning will focus on the complexities of international trade that includes exporting, importing, international marketing, international finance, negotiation and entrepreneurship. You will also learn how to use industry leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools, including SAP and other software.

The program offers a rich and diverse intercultural educational experience. You will learn your craft from faculty with current industry experience in international business. This program is accredited by Forum for International Trade Training (FITT).
