Key topics of study include: statistics needed for analytics, programming languages for data analysis, security and privacy for the field of business analytics, data predictive analytics and leadership in the business environment.

This eight-month certificate program will introduce you to modern manufacturing techniques including programming and Computer Assisted Manufacturing (CAM). You will study both theory and practical aspects of modern metal machining and cutting while focusing on programming, advanced manufacturing techniques and interpreting engineering drawings.

The tourism sector is a large economic growth contributor in Ontario, Canada and the world. This two-year diploma program will help you establish a service-driven attitude and develop your business and entrepreneurial skills to create, promote and sell global tourism products and services. You will graduate as a specialist in tourism destination innovation and implementing exciting new tourism services.

You will develop business skills in marketing, sales and customer relations, negotiation, risk management, industry-specific global distribution systems, local and international tourism destinations and geography.

In semester two of the program, you can continue your studies in the Tourism – Services Management, Global Tourism Business concentration or switch to Travel Services. Switching is seamless with a common first semester in both programs.

Optional Co-op
Students meeting all academic requirements may have the opportunity to complete an optional co-op work term(s) in a formal work environment. In most cases the work term(s) is a full-time paid position completed between two academic semesters.? In programs with limited co-op opportunities, additional academic requirements and a passing grade?on a communication assessment may be required for eligibility.? Eligibility for participation does not guarantee a work position will be secured. Additional fees are required for those participating in the optional co-op stream regardless of success in securing a work position. 

Field Placement
You will complete 150 hours of unpaid placement in the fourth semester in one of the tourism and travel segments. You will receive assistance from your professor, but it is your responsibility to confirm a placement upon successful completion of all third semester courses before accepting a field placement position.

Seneca’s Fire Protection Engineering Technician two-year diploma program is a North American standard in providing comprehensive fire prevention education. You can expect to work with advanced equipment under the guidance of professors and industry experts in fire science labs.

The four-year Honours Bachelor of Child Development degree program prepares you for expansive opportunities across the health, education, and social service sectors. Upon completion of this program, you will be able to pursue careers in family support services, recreation, early learning and education, infant mental health, and early intervention for children and youth with diverse abilities. You will also qualify to register as a member of the College of Early Childhood Educator and practice as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE).

With ongoing specialization, our students have achieved successful careers in assessment and counselling, child life, elementary teaching, speech and language therapy, and occupational therapy. Like many of our graduates, you may choose to complete your Bachelor of Education or a Master of Arts. Our faculty have direct experience in community settings and may help you in facilitating job opportunities.

As a student of this program, you will complete a work term which frequently translates into future employment. Ultimately, our applied learning model crosses various disciplines which will help you to think critically and gain experience in the field that fits your unique interests.

The work term may be a paid or unpaid position that is completed between two academic semesters and requires a minimum of 420 hours of work. Students must be in good standing and meet all identified requirements prior to participating in the work experience. The successful completion of the work term is required for graduation. Eligibility for participation does not guarantee that a work position will be secured. Additional fees are required for the mandatory degree work term regardless of success in securing a work position.

This four-year degree program is designed to provide you with specialized knowledge and skills in international business. The degree-level program builds upon the solid foundation of a well-rounded management education including accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, ethics and strategy. As you move into the intermediate and advanced years, the BMI program emphasizes business and supply chain processes that cross international boundaries and focuses on the complexities of operating in an international environment. Application of business technology is integrated throughout the program to introduce students to enterprise resource planning concepts and techniques.

This two-year diploma program in accounting will introduce you to the accounting practices, related technology applications, business fundamentals and the soft skills needed to find employment. You will learn how to use computer applications like Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Access relational database management software.

As a student of this program, assuming specific course grade and GPA requirements are met, and upon completion of five bridging courses, you will be eligible to directly enter Seneca’s Honours Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting & Finance (BACF).
