Pathways to success
This program prepares you for university and the workplace. You'll take a range of courses in the humanities and social and behavioural sciences, and develop analytical skills that will help you succeed in your future studies at university. Academic advisers will help you transition to college life, and will work with you to plan for your future academic Arts and Science career at university.

The two-year program focuses on technical and professional skills required to work in a variety of Health Service settings. You will learn to use specialized medical software, OHIP billing, electronic calendaring and scheduling, and communication software applications.

Medical Simulation or Field Placement
When you have successfully completed the first three terms and have met a prescribed GPA, you have the option of choosing either a Medical Simulation course or Field Placement (two days per week). Both options prepare you for entry-level administrative support positions in a medical office or setting. This is an excellent opportunity to gain work experience and evaluate different career paths.

Our Honours BBA (Finance) program prepares you for this, giving you a solid grounding in business fundamentals and teaching you the operational and commercial aspects of the finance function, including investment finance.

Critical training
This program is accredited by the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs. You'll learn in state-of-the-art facilities designed to replicate the drug distribution systems used in today's pharmacy settings, and will receive the specialized training you need to work as a pharmacy technician in a community, hospital or other pharmacy practice site.

Sheridan’s Animal Care program prepares you to work as part of a professional team in a range of animal-care facilities.
Critical training
This program equips you with the skills you need to work in such locations as veterinary clinics, shelters, grooming businesses, wildlife rehabilitation facilities, dog daycare facilities, pet shops, zoos and other such animal facilities. This program is ideal for you if you have a technical interest in animals, are patient, conscientious, attentive to detail, highly motivated and dedicated.
What you'll learn
You'll study such subjects as animal anatomy, nutrition, domestic animal science, exotic animal science, animal grooming, animal nursing procedures and animal handling. You'll work with live animals under supervision to demonstrate and practice skills such as handling and restraint techniques, animal husbandry, feeding, grooming and veterinary simulation exercises.

Gain the fundamental knowledge needed to work in the field of mechanical engineering! In addition to basic math and science, you’ll study advanced subjects such as calculus, machine kinematics, fluid power, process controls and industrial practices. Learn about the latest equipment and technologies, including programmable logic controllers, materials testing and additive manufacturing.

Co-op
Students in this program may apply to the co-op program during their first academic semester. Enrolment in the co-op program is limited through an additional co-op application process that takes place in the first semester. Students in the co-op program are eligible to complete a co-op work term during the 4-month term following the second semester. Co-operative Education is a form of work-integrated learning that links classroom learning with paid or unpaid work experiences within a professional environment. Co-op work terms are related specifically to the academic studies of each student. The work terms provide an opportunity to learn by doing. You’ll apply theory to practice, develop a meaningful view of the working world, and cultivate an awareness of yourself as a professional.

Designed for students with degrees or diplomas in related programs, Advanced Manufacturing Management condenses a range of advanced production management skills into one year of intensive study. Plus, with the co-op portion of the program, you're gaining real-world experience and contacts while earning your certificate.

We've scheduled our classes as efficiently as possible, keeping in mind that many of our Advanced Manufacturing Management students are already working professionals. In the second semester you'll solve a real industry problem, and have the responsibility to diagnose the problem, gather information, analyze it and recommend solutions to the managers and personnel of the organization. You'll also have the chance to apply for a four-month co-op work term at the end of your academic work (see Co-op Option for details).
