This program is designed for graduates of technology programs and mature students who are already working in industry. You may be able to transfer previously earned credits towards this credential or receive credit for relevant work experience. Completion of this program will also provide you with advanced standing towards future pursuit of any computer engineering diploma program within Sheridan’s School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology.

The two-year program focuses on technical and professional skills required to work in a variety of Health Service settings. You will learn to use specialized medical software, OHIP billing, electronic calendaring and scheduling, and communication software applications.

Medical Simulation or Field Placement
When you have successfully completed the first three terms and have met a prescribed GPA, you have the option of choosing either a Medical Simulation course or Field Placement (two days per week). Both options prepare you for entry-level administrative support positions in a medical office or setting. This is an excellent opportunity to gain work experience and evaluate different career paths.

Our Business Administration – Accounting program provides a balance of theoretical studies, hands-on learning and specialized courses.

Businesses rely on accountants to monitor their performance, compliance and financial health. Enjoy the opportunity to earn while you learn! All advanced diploma students have the option of gaining more than 1,000 hours of work experience through a co-op work term. Co-op is a competitive program and you’ll need to meet certain academic requirements to participate. Connections you build during your work term may lead to employment opportunities after you graduate.
