  • Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted into this program, applicants must have Grade 12 / High School Diploma or equivalent, including these required courses:
    • One English, Grade 12 (ENG4C or ENG4U), minimum 60% plus
    • Mathematics, Grade 12 (C or U) or mathematics, Grade 11 (M or U*) * MBF3C does not meet this requirement.
    • Minimum 65% overall average required for PBUSP, PBUSA, PBSAA

Students who wish to work in Canada require a work permit to do so. A student in Canada can work part-time during the course of his studies and full-time during holidays and semester breaks and post the completion of their course/program.

You can also work part-time on campus at your university.

Your part-time work permit will be valid for as long as you have a valid study permit.

Working Hours

20 Hours/Week

As a full-time student, you can work for a maximum of 20 hours a week. However, you can work full- time during holidays and breaks.

This program gives you a clear pathway to becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). Once you’ve successfully completed this program, you can apply to CPA’s Professional Education Program (PEP) — the final step before you write your Common Final Exam (CFE). Even if you don’t have an accounting background, you’ll soon be on your way to becoming a CPA.

Co-op or fast track: the choice is yours
If you start in May, you’ll have the option to apply for our co-op program, which adds a four-month work term.
