Advertising - Account Management
Sheridan's Advertising – Account Management graduate certificate program, you’ll learn to plan, develop and create complete digital and traditional advertising campaigns. Co-op experience
Following eight months of classroom instruction, eligible students will have the opportunity to participate in a four-month cooperative education placement. Note that this is a competitive process and only qualified students are accepted. Working in the marketing field, you’ll apply your in-class learning and gain valuable work experience that may boost your career—and help you land a great job.

Field placements with exciting brands!:-
You'll have a chance to learn from the best in the business with two field placements during the second year of the merchandising program. The placements are a great way to gain hands-on experience in a number of areas in the industry and make some important professional contacts. Your placements will help you better choose the direction of your merchandising career path.

Build on your foundational architectural education

In your first two years, you’ll learn core architecture skills such as CAD software, building and assembly systems, document preparation and envelope detailing. In your final year, you’ll work with real clients in the community, train with cutting-edge software, prepare project plans and more. You’ll even build a portfolio to help you find work after you graduate.

Get paid work experience with optional co-op placements

As an Architectural Technology student, you can participate in the optional paid co-op. The co-op placement will help you gain real-life experience and make contacts in the architecture and construction industries. Previous student placements have included roles at the City of Mississauga and PCL Construction.

This program offers the opportunity to build foundational skills needed in any business administration career, and delivers hands-on training in vital HR skills through case studies, guest speakers, simulated negotiation situations and group work. International Business Management
The professors who teach Sheridan's International Business courses are personally experienced in international business. They are continually updating the program so that it accurately reflects current international market conditions, challenges and regulations.

Co-op Experience
Eligible students (see About Co-op) can acquire invaluable work experience in the international business field through a work-term cooperative education assignment following completion of the academic portion of the program. Specialize or diversify your marketing knowledge
In the first two years of your studies, you’ll build a solid foundation in general business fundamentals. Beginning in Year 3, you can choose from a range of electives, allowing you to specialize in one area of marketing or branch out across various fields. You’ll also put your new skills to work during a mandatory internship and optional co-op.

Internship & Co-op
The Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs all include a one-semester internship where students will fulfill many of the program learning outcomes and become prepared for future employment. After the completion of a minimum of 60 credits, students may also apply to participate in the BBA Co-op program, which allows students to complete three additional work terms to a total of four work terms. Enrolment in the Co-op program is limited through an additional Co-op application process.

Co-op/Internship allows students to take ownership and responsibility for their own growth and development through practice in real-life employment environments. Our work terms are scenarios where students can apply their critical, creative, and reflective thinking in a way that maximizes their workplace experiences and preparedness for full-time employment after graduation.

Sheridan's BBA Co-op program has built-in flexibility for students to select their path and schedule for Co-op work terms, may lead to paid employment during the work term, and further supports students to develop their entrepreneurial thinking skills and capacity for responsible risk-taking in a complex workplace environment.

Students receive in-class and 1-on-1 career education support to help prepare for their Internship or Co-op work terms. The Co-op/Internship component is delivered by Sheridan's Co-operative Education Office, which facilitates over 1,800 Co-op/Internship work terms per year Sheridan-wide. In the three-year Marketing advanced diploma program, you can add valuable work experience to your resumé through cooperative education. You'll spend your final two years in the program alternating between school and work, applying what you're learning in class to the workplace. Co-op is a competitive process, and you'll need to meet certain criteria in order to qualify to participate.

Cities need designers who understand the built environment. This eight-month graduate certificate responds to that demand, teaching you to design inclusive and sustainable solutions that connect and integrate urban landscapes. Sheridan is one of the few colleges in Canada to offer this niche training, which is traditionally taught in master's level studies.
