Students who wish to work in Canada require a work permit to do so. A student in Canada can work part-time during the course of his studies and full-time during holidays and semester breaks and post the completion of their course/program.

Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technicians are important members of the health care team. Interacting directly with patients, they perform ECG’s and collect blood samples for laboratory analysis.
Inside the laboratory they assist other professionals by sorting and preparing samples for testing, operating laboratory equipment, performing basic laboratory testing under supervision, and managing data in computers.
This program includes two semesters of learning in our classrooms and laboratories followed by a final 4 weeks of field placement occurring inside the laboratories of partner hospitals and private institutions. Bachelor of Business Administration
Laurentian University offers a four-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at St. Lawrence College in Kingston. The program combines the theoretical underpinnings of university with the practical strengths of college. The relationship is all about providing access to education in a seamless manner, providing fair credit for prior academic and experiential learning.
There are two primary streams of access to the BBA degree program: an entry-level, four-year degree and an accelerated level designed for college diploma graduates where credit is given for prior learning and experience. The core subjects in the degree program cover the fundamentals of economics, accounting, financial information systems, financial management, management decision making, organizational behaviour, human resources, strategic planning, and marketing. This challenging program builds foundational skills related to music performance, multimedia, film and audio recording.
