This degree provides the perfect path for students who wish to find solutions to large-scale challenges such as pollution, climate change or rising sea levels. The program integrates the disciplines of geology, biology, chemistry and geography, and gives you an opportunity to study at one of the top 100 green campuses in the world.  As an Environmental Geoscience student, you’ll study the interaction between human activities and our planet while discovering environmental solutions alongside some of the world’s leading environmental researchers and scientists.

Psychology is defined as the scientific study of behaviour and the mind. You will study the principles of behaviour through lectures, labs, seminars and research. Explore topics from sleep and dreams to health, sexuality, and perception. Gain critical and interdisciplinary understanding of criminalization and punishment, in a program that places critical focus on systemic oppression including the historical and contemporary realities of Indigenous peoples’, over-criminalization.

Justice served is about so much more than crime and punishment. In Trent’s new Criminology degree, you will gain a foundational understanding of the influence of social inequality as a cause of crime. Learning alongside faculty experts in Sociology, Law, Gender & Social Justice and Indigenous Studies, as well as the new Canada Research Chair in Community-Partnered Social Justice, you will apply your skills and knowledge to better understand the systems at play for both criminals and victims. This program is offered fully online or as a hybrid program with both online and on-campus, in-class learning. Students also have the potential to perform independent research on homelessness, the criminalization of women, as well as gain critical understanding of the realities of Indigenous peoples’ and the criminal justice system.

Economics (Specialization):-
A specialization in Economics is the perfect academic pursuit for B.B.A. students wanting to develop a deeper understanding of the problems that face the business world, along with the theories and techniques that are being used to solve these issues. Graduating students who have fulfilled the requirements for a Bachelor of Business Administration degree may apply for a Specialization in Economics, if they have successfully completed the following 3.5 credits:

• 2.5 credits consisting of ADMN 3700H, ECON 2000H, 2010H, 3020H, and 3120H
• 0.5 credit from ADMN 3870H or 0.5 ECON credit beyond those required for the BBA (ECON 1010H, 1020H, 2200H, 2250H)
• 0.5 additional ECON credit beyond those required for the BBA

Criminology and Socio-Legal Studies (Specialization):-
