Our Music program provides Christ-centred mentorship and exciting peer collaborations, along with abundant opportunities to hone your musical and leadership skills. Our Bachelor Of Arts (Ba) Music Program Offers
Specialization in one of four options:

• Performance - Prepare for a career in the performing arts and/or private music instruction.
• Music Education - Develop your skills to teach in private or public schools.
• General Music - Receive advanced professional training for a variety of musical careers such as conducting, composition, or a range of options within the music industry.
• Worship Arts - Strengthen your skills, develop a firm theological foundation, and be inspired to help create the future of worship music. Internship at a local church is a key component of this program.

In an increasingly globalized world, international knowledge is an asset to any profession.

An International Studies degree helps you understand global context and work toward answers for some of the world’s most demanding questions. With four different streams to choose from you are sure to find your fit in International studies.

Our courses are presented from historical and contemporary perspectives and challenge you to learn about the changing dynamics of the international society. You will learn from the expertise of specialized professors about topics such as war, foreign policy, globalization, economic disparity, and international development.

As part of the major, we encourage our students to study abroad in order to put what they learn in the classroom into practice. There are also many ways to get involved on campus, including student-led initiatives such as TWU’s Refugee Awareness Campaign or participation in Model United Nations.

International Studies majors typically find employment in international non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government, law, missions, or in providing other services in the global community.

Corporate Communication Specialization
SAMC grows leaders with an in-depth understanding of marketing, public relations, writing, speaking, and media. Corporate communicators are the voice of an organization. Our passionate and highly experienced faculty promotes academic excellence and hands on experience needed to pursue a fulfilling career path. Our smaller class sizes allow for integrated discussion among students and nurtures long standing relationships between classmates and teachers.

TWU¹s School of Human Kinetics is a certified training centre by the NSCA (The National Strength and Conditioning Association) and our faculty serve noted positions with the managing council of the Canadian Sports Psychology Association as well as the Board Canadian Sport Institute.

Biotechnology—creating technology or products from cellular and biomolecular processes, often DNA technology—is one of the fastest growing and innovative scientific sectors.

Our students study the science behind breakthrough discoveries that revolutionized gene editing, stem cell research, green energy, and big data in personalized medicine. Our students learn in the classroom and lab, as well as in a chosen field alongside biotechnology experts. Our students gain the knowledge, expertise, ethical framework, and contacts necessary to achieve a successful career in the life sciences. Our Biotechnology degree not only fast-tracks you for careers in life science, it also meets standard entry requirements for medical school and other professional schools.

On-campus, students have access to our new biology and analytical chemistry research laboratories, our confocal microscopy suite, and our on-campus Ecosystem Study Area to put classroom techniques to practice. Our students gain marketable skills and networks through co-op placements and practicums.

The MA in Leadership degrees are offered with two foundational curriculum themes – Transformational Servant Leadership and Values-Based Leadership. Our degree program is designed to develop emerging leaders using the Competency Model to become confident and effective servant-leaders for the 21st Century.

TWU’s MA in Leadership, business specialization offers a leadership model that emphasizes people, teamwork, and results-oriented application. This program will equip professionals with the skills to adapt to the increasing demands and rapidly changing priorities of the business sector.

Europe provides a fascinating area of study--a complex blend of states with a rich history of rivalries and alliances, obvious similarities and glaring distinctions, with religion playing a major role in shaping its art, culture, philosophy, and law.

TWU’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences offers a multidisciplinary major in European Studies for students interested in Europe’s social, economic, political, and spiritual aspects. It’s a stimulating interdisciplinary research environment for both faculty and students, promoting academic excellence in research, publications, and teaching on European issues. There are numerous travel study opportunities in places such as London, Geneva, Rome, and Paris. The European Studies major offers three streams of study: language, history, and English literature and fine arts.

With a faculty of dedicated and experienced professionals, our Philosophy program aims to challenge and improve your logical and critical-thinking skills.

You will learn about historic thinkers and influential writings that have shaped the world, while creatively engaging in solving some of the most significant problems facing contemporary culture. You will develop the skills to understand and evaluate ideas. Through our philosophy courses, you will refine your perspectives on the importance of ethics, how humans think, and the need to think consistently and clearly. A Philosophy degree prepares you for many career opportunities including law, business, and government.

With a finger on the pulse of a company's clients and customers, marketing blends insight, creativity, attention to detail, and strategy to form an integral part of any business. A mix of lecture, case analysis, and hands-on projects, the School of Business marketing specialization provides students the opportunity to utilize their knowledge and skills at the strategic and tactical level, including key components such as product line management, media strategy development, interactive marketing, e-marketing, and more.
