Why study Neuroscience? (Honors)
This interdisciplinary program, offered jointly by the Faculty of Science and the Neuroscience and Mental Health Institute, covers all aspects of brain function, including brain development, nerve cells and synapses, sensation and perception, learning and memory, control of movement, animal behavior, cognitive psychology, and disorders of the nervous system.
This program can only be taken as part of a BSc Honors degree.

Students who wish to work in Canada require a work permit to do so. A student in Canada can work part-time during the course of his studies and full-time during holidays and semester breaks and post the completion of their course/program.

Your part-time work permit will be valid for as long as you have a valid study permit.

As a full-time student, you can work for a maximum of 20 hours a week. However, you can work full- time during holidays and breaks.

Our Secondary Education program in the Faculty of Education prepares you to pass on your love of learning and discovery in almost any subject to students in grades 7-12. You’ll choose two areas of specialization — a major and minor — allowing you to pursue your passion and customize your experience.

Our Astrophysics program explores a wide range of questions about the physics and properties of stars, galaxies and the universe. Classics involves the study of ancient cultures – particularly, the literature, history, and art of the great civilizations of Greece and Rome, from the period of about 500 B.C. to A.D. 500.
