Students who wish to work in Canada require a work permit to do so. A student in Canada can work part-time during the course of his studies and full-time during holidays and semester breaks and post the completion of their course/program.
You can also work part-time on campus at your university.

Bachelor of Arts in Native Studies/Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education - Native Studies
This combined program, offered jointly with the Faculty of Education, allows you to earn two degrees in five years, preparing you to become a teacher for Grades 7-12 while providing you with additional expertise. The first three years of this program are taken in the Faculty of Native Studies, while the last two years are taken in the Faculty of Education. You can choose to major in either Native Studies or Cree.

This program can only be taken as part of a BSc Honors degree.

Co-op option
This degree can be taken as a Co-op (co-operative education) program. Through the Co-op program, you will have the opportunity to complete paid, supervised work terms throughout your degree. Most co-op programs include five work terms lasting four months each, in addition to the usual eight terms (four years) of full-time study. Therefore, co-op programs require five years to complete.
