The Master of Supply Chain Management and Logistics program delivers supply chain management and logistics education and advanced professional skills while guiding students in developing their understanding of and appreciation for the application of ethics, sustainability and professional practices in supply chains.

This program is a hands-on degree with a practical component, which gives students the skills and knowledge required to work professionally in supply chain management and logistics fields

Co-op placement or practicum
The Master of Supply Chain Management and Logistics degree includes a 4-month graduate co-op placement or practicum in which students gain hands-on experience in the supply chain management field. These placements are made possible by the Stu Clark graduate school’s network of connections within Manitoba and across Canada. 

The Diploma in Art is essentially technical in nature. The interdisciplinary studio-based learning experience gives students a hands-on training in an art studio setting and introduces them to possible careers and education pathways in the arts and culture sector. Building a diverse set of technical skills while gaining practical experience.

Geography is a broad synthesizing discipline that studies humans and the Earth by focusing on the themes of place and space. Geography is therefore not an encyclopedic listing of capital cities, mountains and rivers, but rather an understanding of the causes, effects, implications, and importance of these and other features. As Geography is so broad, it is often studied as a number of separate but closely related sub-disciplines, notably physical geography and human geography, and also regional geography (Area Studies), topical geography and geographic techniques (Geomatics).

Biology is the study of life as it has evolved and is evolving on earth. All aspects of life are examined, from molecular processes inside cells to large-scale ecological interactions between organisms in their environment, and how the changing environment shapes these interactions.

The Geological Sciences or Earth Sciences are multidisciplinary sciences that apply principles from many different fields to deal with all aspects of the solid Earth and its interactions with the hydrosphere, atmosphere, biosphere and Solar System. Quantitative data is provided through fieldwork, laboratory analysis and theoretical modeling for understanding the physical, chemical and biological behaviour and characteristics of Earth materials – rocks, minerals, fossils, liquids and gases. Once the nature and extent of the Earth’s natural evolution is understood and quantified, as well as the more recent environmental impact of human activity, they can help tackle many resource extraction, mineral processing and environmental problems, and predict future changes to the Earth.

Microbiology is the study of microscopic organisms: bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa and algae. Programs provide a comprehensive study of modern microbiology ranging from environmental to medical to molecular microbiology. Many courses include laboratory components to develop skills in microbiological techniques. The cooperative work-study (co-op) program provides experience in government, private sector and research laboratories.

Chemistry is the science concerned with the properties of atoms and molecules, of which all matter is composed. Chemistry is important for all aspects of the material world - food production; the manufacture of medicines, textiles, and plastics; energy production; identifying environmental problems and remedies; and understanding the workings of living organisms. 

Students admitted to the Master of Science in Management degree program will pursue a research-focused degree in one of the departments of Marketing, Finance, Actuarial Mathematics, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management. The M.Sc. program in Management is designed to produce graduates who have an academically more in-depth, rigorous training in their chosen management field than is the case for either B.Comm (Hons.) graduates or MBA graduates. In addition, the program seeks to develop strong research skills to meet the needs of employers as well as to more effectively prepare M.Sc. students for entrance into Ph.D. programs at the University of Manitoba.

The Global Political Economy program is a unique interdisciplinary approach for the study of international political, social, environmental, and economic issues. It brings together faculty and course offerings across five disciplines to give you a superb education in global political economic relations, and their effects on local communities. The program integrates courses in Political Studies, Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, and History, and for Advanced degree students, two core courses in Global Political Economy.
