The University of New Brunswick Saint John's Bachelor of Applied Management Ecommerce (BAMEC) program complements technical and programming skills gained through a college education with university-level studies on how business is conducted in the new economy.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of how technical and business issues relate to e-commerce and the information economy, and you will gain a competitive edge over your fellow college graduates in business technology.

In BAMEC you will further your technical knowledge and expertise through courses that explore the application and evolution of Wi-Fi networks, E-learning in corporate settings, E-health networks, and various other virtual learning environments.

Our BScEC program will introduce you to the function and roles of Canadian and global economies, and the tools economists use to analyze the decisions made by individuals and businesses. Our BScEC graduates are well-qualified for jobs in economics or finance, or the pursuit of graduate studies in either field.

Statistics is the collection and interpretation of data. At the University of New Brunswick Saint John, you will learn to develop tools to predict behaviour and actions across a variety of sectors including government, business, science and academia.

In your first year you will be required to take introductory mathematics courses in calculus as well as two introductory courses in probability and statistics. In your upper years you will build upon this foundation with courses in probability analysis, design and sample surveying. You may declare your major or minor in statistics at the end of your second year.

A degree in statistics prepares you for a career in analyzing a variety of factors for many types of employers including government, business, education and academia.

Our graduates go on to become actuaries, forensic auditors, insurance underwriters, market research analysts, medical researchers, public opinion researchers, statisticians and systems operation analysts.

Mechanical engineers work with systems that transform energy and material to useful ends.

Combining the principles of physics with engineering, mechanical engineers design, develop and analyze machines, including:

The majority of mechanical engineers work in manufacturing and industrial plants, improving system performance, including increased emission and other environmental controls.

General Information:-

The Certificate in General Studies is open to all interested individuals, but it is intended for student attending university for the first time. It is anticipated that Certificate students may proceed on to a degree program, transferring all appropriate Certificate credit(s).

The multidisciplinary International Studies program at UNB’s Saint John campus is about exploring the diversity, complexity, and interdependence that make up our modern world. It’s about placing our society, politics, history, culture, and economics under a microscope in an attempt to understand contemporary global issues, such as food distribution, gender roles, and disease control.
