Radiological technologists are experts in the use of electromagnetic radiation, such as X-rays, for the diagnosis of injury and disease. Radiography is offered in collaboration with the Saint John Regional Hospital and The Moncton Hospital.

Just about every Canadian will benefit from the work and care of a radiological technologist at some point in their lives - whether it's for a sprain, broken ankle or an annual preventative care mammogram.

Radiological technologists use a variety of technologies such as:

  • Radiography, the commonly used X-ray for the chest, bones, joints, spine and gastrointestinal system
  • Mammography, for early detection of breast cancer
