Our Program
The Petroleum Systems Engineering (PSE) undergraduate program teaches evaluation, design, and management of technologies used in evaluating reserves and in oil and gas production and treatment. Advanced computer utilization and automation are integrated into the program.

Geology emphasizes solid earth science and applications in mineral and oil and gas resources. It can be divided into two areas of concentrations:

• Mineral exploration

Our program has a well-rounded curriculum that promotes a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the earth sciences across all sub-disciplines, combined with extensive hands-on training, field-oriented class exercises, regular use of the Saskatchewan Geological Survey’s subsurface core repository, and two intensive field school courses. A master s degree in the field of Biochemistry furthers the study of chemical processes that relate to living organisms, and is a diverse and fascinating discipline. Studies consist of learning more about the chemical reactions and combinations that take place in the body for metabolism, growth, heredity, production, and more. Master of Music (MMus) in Conducting
This 30 credit hour program offers intensive individualized studies in conducting for wind ensemble, orchestra, or choir. Students undertake a wide range of conducting projects and score study. The program culminates with a concert in which the student conducts a major work for large ensemble. All students also take graduate courses in critical theory in the fine arts, and in research techniques specific to music. This degree is an excellent choice for anyone interested in enhancing their conducting skills, including high school teachers who wish to gain extra qualifications.

The University of Regina offers an exciting inter-disciplinary research-oriented graduate degree program in Gerontology. The study of gerontology (the comprehensive study of aging and the problems and opportunities of older adults) is becoming increasingly important because it addresses one of the most significant demographic issues confronting our society today, namely the increasing proportion of the population that is over the age of 65. Students with professional degrees, (e.g., medicine, social work, physical therapy, nursing, optometry, etc.) as well as undergraduate degrees in kinesiology, psychology, health studies, health science, biology or other related health disciplines are encouraged to apply for the fall semester. The program is coordinated by the Centre on Aging and Health, University of Regina and involves the collaboration of the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies and the Faculty of Social Work. Students can work towards an M.A. or an M.Sc. degree depending on the nature of their thesis research. The program aims to provide research training and specialized gerontological knowledge to health professionals and to students wishing to pursue doctoral studies and research careers. The program aims to address both the physiological and psychosocial aspects of aging.
