The 4-year Bachelor of Fine Arts Acting degree is designed to prepare graduates to pursue careers as professional actors. Our developmental psychology program offers so much that is unique. Start your program with an Introduction to Psychology course for psych majors only, where you get to work in small groups led by mentors to help you along. Begin your journey to an exciting career in mechanical engineering by developing a solid foundation in machine design, CAD, and thermofluids with applications in automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and materials engineering. Available specializations include automotive, aerospace, environmental, and materials. Our facilities include a dedicated project courtyard where students develop their hands on capabilities. The faculty promotes connections with industry through projects, courses, and workplace co-op opportunities.

Mechanical Engineering with Aerospace
Develop your aerospace skills as you learn about propulsion, aerodynamics, structures, materials, and drone technology. Consider taking advantage of our unique opportunity to obtain your private pilot’s license for course credit or compete internationally with our aero or rocket teams.

You’ll learn from world-renowned leaders in the areas of equity, diversity and inclusion, and sexual assault resistance education. We have innovative learning initiatives through the Walls to Bridges program, where you’ll learn alongside incarcerated students, to the Bystander Initiative which teaches you how to safely intervene to end sexual violence.

Interested in crime scene investigation? This program allows you to combine forensic courses with a social science like psychology or criminology. You will learn about state-of-the-art forensic technologies, investigative methods and the criminal justice system. Tailor your course selections to your future career.

This broad program offers courses as varied as your interests. With lots of flexibility, it offers the ability to analyze issues, evaluate courses of action, and implement effective solutions. These skills are the stepping-stones to careers in a wide range of social service, business, or government organizations. You will choose a certificate program (Anthrozoology, Applied Information Technology, Arts Management, Law and Politics, Public Administration, Organizational Management, Second Language Education, Women’s and Gender Studies, Work and Employment Issues) and up to two or three minors, gaining transferable skills essential in the job market.

Advance your skills with the Engineering Technology degree. If you have an 3-year, advanced technology diploma, or a degree in a scientific or technical subject, this program is for you. Follow one of the specializations: mechatronics, mechanical, civil or stay in the general stream. Learning from our exceptional profs benefits you when preparing to write the PEng exams. Economics is a science that studies how a society uses its scarce resources to produce the goods and services that its members desire. The study of economics will provide you with an understanding of how individuals, firms and public agencies influence what is produced, how it is produced, and who gets to consume what is produced. 

At UWindsor, you will learn how the actions of individuals, firms and public agencies ultimately determine the direction of the overall economy. You will acquire the tools necessary to answer such important economic questions as: how do we reduce Canada’s unemployment rate; what are the effects of government deficits and spending cuts; and what are the effects of globalization on the Canadian economy? 

You will also learn the skills to analyze economic problems and view them from the perspective of different groups in society based on their particular interests.
