The only one of its kind in Ontario, MBA-Professional Accounting Specialization, accredited by Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario), prepares its graduates to succeed as accountants and business professionals in a multitude of careers.

From public accounting to industry or the government and not for profit, MBA-PAS is designed to develop technical knowledge, interpersonal and communication skills as well as critical thinking and professional decision-making ability, all required to excel in complex work environments.

Students can complete the program within 12 months. Students graduating from the program will hold an MBA degree and be ready to write CPA Ontario’s Common Final Exam (CFE). Fully accredited by CPA Canada, MBA-PAS students who have successfully completed the program will be able to write the CFE without having to go through any further preparation.

MBA-PAS provides domestic and international students, holding business or non-business undergraduate degrees*, with the ability to pursue a career in accounting, creating a classroom environment where synergies from diverse backgrounds contribute to the education of a well-rounded Chartered Professional Accountant.

Criminology examines criminal activity, legal issues, policing, regulation, the criminal justice system, and security as major factors in society. In our program-the most established in Ontario-you’ll learn how crimes and illegalities are defined, the enforcement and administration of laws, punishments and sanctions, and issues of law, morality and justice. A strong foundation for such careers as police services, corrections, border services and social service agencies.

Get an international perspective and prepare for an exciting career in foreign affairs and global governance. Focus your sights in a variety of areas such as diplomatic relations, human rights, international justice, conflict resolution and more. You’ll learn from our faculty members and develop analytical skills to build novel approaches to global issues. You can broaden your horizons an add a student exchange opportunity, or the EU study abroad course where you will travel to Europe for exclusive access to NATO officials.

Neuroscience is a strong and growing field that strives to understand brain function at the molecular, behavioural, and cognitive levels. The Behaviour, Cognition, and Neuroscience program combines the biological aspects of psychology and biology relating to the brain and behaviour.

Behaviour, Cognition and Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary program designed for students interested in carrying out research in biology and psychology as part of their undergraduate academic training.  Along with taking regular courses with students in the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, you will also take directed research-based courses with one or more faculty. Our students have the flexibility to design programs that meet the admission requirements of many professional programs. Graduates receive a Bachelor of Science degree upon graduation.

This program is like a buy-one-get-one-free sale on languages. You get to specialize in two languages—Spanish, Italian, or German. Class sizes are small, guaranteeing you lots of one-on-one attention. You’ll get the chance to study abroad, too, if you choose. Being multilingual is a huge asset in whatever career field you pursue.

Begin your journey to an exciting career in mechanical engineering by developing a solid foundation in machine design, CAD, and thermofluids with applications in automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and materials engineering. Available specializations include automotive, aerospace, environmental, and materials. Our facilities include a dedicated project courtyard where students develop their hands on capabilities. The faculty promotes connections with industry through projects, courses, and workplace co-op opportunities.

Mechanical Engineering with Environmental Option
Learn how to apply mechanical know-how to solve the sustainability challenges associated with machinery. The program combines the foundation of mechanical engineering with courses that focus on the quality of air and water, and waste management.

Families are dynamic. Gain theoretical and practical insights into the changes that affect families, and the social responses to those changes. This program explores child studies, sexuality and sexual health, family history and change, marriage dynamics, and gender issues. It combines courses from a variety of disciplines, including sociology, psychology, social work, history and women’s and gender studies.

The Interdisciplinary Health Sciences program provides an exciting opportunity to combine a Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences and Psychology degree with unique interdisciplinary concentrations. This program allows students to explore global challenges and grow as thought leaders who can tackle issues in areas like global health, the environment and climate change, and sustainable development.

Psychology
Get inside people’s brains in this program that lets you discover why people think and act the way they do. Major in psychology alone or do a combined honours with another discipline. Start your program with an introduction to Psychology course for psych majors only, where you get to work in small groups led by mentors to help you along. You can do research and community placements throughout your undergraduate years. 

Visual Arts

Biological Science
Study the fundamentals of life in this flexible program that lets you blaze your own trail. Specialize in microbiology, cellular development, environmental and evolutionary biology, population and ecosystem ecology, or any combination of these areas. You’ll learn research techniques in our new labs and out in the field that will prepare you for a wide range of career paths, ranging from interests at the molecular level, to whole organism (including humans) and/or the more complex community and ecosystem levels.

Psychology
