Get behind the headlines and learn how political power really works. Our political science program introduces you to political, economic, social, and environmental issues in Canada and around the world. We offer a great mentorship program, opportunities to do research with faculty, and the ability to complete an internship in fourth year. Our active and engaged department is home to the Political Science Society, the Model UN Club, and arranges an annual trip to Europe through the EU Study Abroad course.

History
Be versatile! In our history program, you will develop your research and writing skills. Lots of careers are based on that. We offer public history courses relating to how people interact with the past — think museums, documentaries, walking tours and history websites — with an emphasis on digital history, and practicums for hands-on experience.

Find your engineering focus. All our engineering programs start with the same courses in first year so you can learn more about each field (civil, environmental, electrical, industrial and mechanical). Then choose an area of study for second year. You’ll receive guidance from our world renowned faculty, hands-on learning in a supportive environment and gain the skills needed for a successful career.

Food and water security for all North Americans depends on the Great Lakes, and environmental scientists play a critical role in their management and sustainability. Here, at the heart of the Great Lakes, we provide our students with comprehensive and balanced training in the physical and living environment – atmosphere, hydrosphere, geosphere, biosphere. Through a systems-based approach, you will learn and apply a diversity of scientific tools and skills to understand the structure, function and health of this globally important freshwater resource. Ours was the first environmental engineering degree program in Canada and we’ve been leading the way ever since. In this comprehensive program, you’ll get exposure to all aspects of the field — air, water, solid waste, sustainability, and more. UWindsor is home to the Great Lakes Institute for Environmental Research, giving students the opportunity for collaboration between science and engineering. We have a low faculty-to-student ratio and the resources to set you up for success.

The Odette MBA provides students with a personalized preparation for a successful career in business. The unique program offers students a fast-paced learning environment using an experiential approach to education. The Odette MBA welcomes non-business background students and although there is no required work-experience in order to apply, many applicants typically have between two to five years of working experience.

In addition to traditional studies, Odette MBA students are involved in various aspects of learning including participation in community projects, numerous networking opportunities, industry events and much more.

The Odette MBA is a full curriculum that is condensed into a 14-month program, which allows students to become fully engrossed in their MBA experience while also gaining the understanding of the importance and value of delivering quality work and effort, faster.

Using advanced education and collaboration, the Odette MBA integrates real-world corporate projects and personalized instruction, through the exclusive APEX (Advanced Program for Experiential Consulting) program; a co-op setting redefined, where students work on real business challenges alongside the leaders of prominent corporate partners such as Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Avis International Corp., Crayola Canada and more. The Master of Management program is a course-based graduate program. This 16-month program offers you the benefits of a world-class business education with the personal touch of a small school. While you will focus on the specialization of your choice, you will also be equipped with core business courses with multi-disciplinary relevance and receive the practical knowledge required to excel. The University of Windsor, Faculty of Engineering offers a Master of Engineering (MEng) Program which is course-based designed for working professionals or recent graduates who want to increase their knowledge in multiple, advanced topics.

The Engineering Materials Graduate Program is to provide an outstanding learning environment for productive graduate research, to maintain state-of-the-art research laboratories equipped with the most modern research equipment to offer students with opportunities for a rewarding education. To keep self-sustained growth by a high output of student co-authored peer-reviewed research publications, and strengthening collaborative research with other universities and industry. To expose students to challenging industrial problems that are studied using a sound scientific methodology and experimental/theoretical research skills. Kinesiology - Movement Science: Focusing on the "human" in movement science and active living will provide you with all the tools to become a leader in health and a variety of other industry sectors. You'll like the family feel of this faculty, and there are lots of opportunities for hands-on learning through co-op, internships, community outreach, and conducting research with our leading scientists in state-of-the-art labs.

The Master of Applied Computing is a course-based professional graduate program offered by the School of Computer Science will provide you with a solid foundation and knowledge of industry oriented practical aspects of Computer Science, preparing you to take up positions in the growing software industry in Canada and around the world.

The skills and knowledge gained from this program will allow you to develop a successful career in the growing software industry through practical projects, internships and in-class training. This program has been specifically designed to expose you to the latest technologies and developments in a number of high-demand fields.

You will study and live in Canada for approximately 16 consecutive months while enrolled in 8 prescribed courses and one Project/Internship (2 course credit). Courses include not only Computer Science but also Business classes.
