BSc Chemistry is a three-year undergraduate course which one can apply after completing 12th from science stream. BSc Chemistry course deals with different aspects of Chemistry including organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry.

It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines. Mechanical Engineering emerged in the 19th century from the developments in the field of physics. In today’s era, Mechanical engineers are gaining new research heights in fields such as composites, mechatronics, and nanotechnology. The role of a mechanical engineer is to take a product from an idea to the marketplace. The breadth of the mechanical engineering discipline allows students a variety of career options beyond the few mentioned above. The study of the Mechanical engineering empowers students with creative thinking to design new product; analytical tools to turn their design to reality; and most importantly the teamwork.

Mechanical Engineering program at Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology is best suited to meet the ever-changing requirements of engineers. We have a strong undergraduate program in mechanical engineering. The primary focus of our curriculum is to impart technical know-how to students. We promote their problem-solving skills and innovation of new technologies. The mechanical department offers numerous optional certificate courses for providing a wide spectrum of options to the students to gain knowledge about their interest beyond the curriculum. Students are also encouraged to undertake various live projects.

Master of Science (M.Sc) in Botany, also called Plant Biology, is a postgraduate level Master degree course.

Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) is a one year professional course in Computer Applications that imparts knowledge about computer application or computer science.

MA or Master of Arts in History is a postgraduate degree of 2 years in the field of arts & humanities.

B.Com stands for Bachelor of Commerce which is a three year undergraduate program. B Com subjects impart Analytical skills, Financial Literacy, Business Acumen, Business Laws, Taxation knowledge etc, with aim to make the student job ready in the field of Banking, Accounting, Insurance and Finance. 

Bachelor of Arts or B.A (General) is an Under-Graduate course. The Bachelor of Arts course can be defined as a broad subdivision of culture composed of many expressive disciplines. The Bachelor of Arts course can be pursued either as a full-time graduate course or part-time graduate course i.e., through correspondence or distance education depending upon one’s choice.

MA Economics or Master of Arts in Economics is a 2 years long postgraduation course that is divided into 4 semesters. With a blend of all the aspects of economics in a society, MA Economics broadly and commonly focuses on topics like macroeconomics, microeconomics, public economics, econometry, international and financial economics.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) is a 3-year undergraduate course that imparts knowledge on the basics of computer application and software development. BCA subjects include database management systems, software engineering, operating systems, web technology and computer languages such as HTML, C, C++, Java.

MSc Mathematics is a 2 year postgraduate course in Mathematics dealing with providing in-depth knowledge of advanced and applied mathematics like geometry, algebra, calculus, number theory, dynamical systems, differential equations and prepare them for various research activities.
