Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology is an undergraduate Information Technology course. Information Technology is a discipline that deals with the use of computers to store, retrieve and transmit information. While the degree has a major focus on computers and technology, it differs from a Computer Science degree in that students are also expected to study management and information theory. Diploma in Information Technology is a Diploma level Information Technology course. Information Technology is the acquisition, processing, storage and dissemination of vocal, pictorial, textual and numerical information by a microelectronics-based combination of computing and telecommunications. In India, the various institute provides this course but its duration (regarding this course duration is one year) is not same which differs place to place. Regarding minimum time to complete the diploma is also not same. This diploma course may also be offered by some certain institutes on a part-time basis and its syllabus is divided into three semesters.

BTech Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is primarily a 4-year undergraduate degree program, provided in the Engineering stream.

The student under BTech Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is required to write the code of the said machine. This code in essence works as guiding instruction for the machine, they said the machine in performing tasks with less human intervention.

In order to communicate with the machines, the student is required to know the specific language understood by the machine, thus in the program students are taught the languages which can be input in the machine.
