The Department of Mechanical Engineering has strategic alliances with companies like NALCO, HAL, Vedanta & Jindal other than CTTC, CIPET, IIW & NSIC to provide superior theoretical and practical training. Besides, the Department has also provided Pro E and Ansys software in its labs. Our aim is to establish ourselves as a centre of excellence in the field of Mechanical Engineering, through innovative teaching-learning methods, intensive CAD/CAM short term programs and Inudstry-Institute partnerships. The department focuses on manufacturing, welding, automotive design and auto service sector skill development.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) strives for excellence in teaching, research and professional services to the industry so as to achieve eminence in selected niche areas viz. Embedded Systems and IoT, Chip Design using VLSI and Communication Systems. Ample opportunities are conferred on students to work on exciting projects based on real-time applications in collaboration with Industry partners such as Tessolve Semiconductor, Dassault Systemes, Sunmoksha Power and Electronics Center of Excellence, Bhubaneswar. Emphasis on research-based learning is imposed in order to inspire the students for innovation and learn upcoming disruptive technologies and its application. The department comprises of State-of-Art laboratories and stellar faculties in order to world class education. We offer four years B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering and also two years M.Tech in Embedded Systems.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering course is a starting level certification in the domain. Students are equipped with basic knowledge and skill in relation to Electrical Engineering. Students can enhance their skill and knowledge set in the respective domain by going for B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech course in the long run. The course mainly aims at providing practical level skills in the subject to the students along with the theoretical understanding of the same so, as to equip them with an all-around holistic view of the subject. Fisheries science is the academic study of understanding and managing fisheries. It is a multidisciplinary science, that draws on the study and investigation of fish processing, aquaculture and fishery resource management, fishing technology and management, fisheries environment and fisheries extension.

M.Sc Agriculture Genetics & Plant Breeding- Plant Breeding & Genetics is dedicated to the genetic improvement of crop plants for the benefit of society through the development of novel breeding methodologies, the discovery and deployment of economically important genes as genetic stocks, germplasm, and varieties, and the training of a new generation of plant breeders.The course offers knowledge on the genetic basis of plant breeding and provides skills in conventional breeding practices, application of biotechnology in plant improvement and variety selection technologies. The graduate will be exposed to institutions involved in plant improvement and therefore have an exposure to challenges and opportunities in plant improvement. The graduate is expected to have the capacity to develop plant improvement plans for plants of economic importance. The graduate shall provide services to seed companies, research and training institutions and offer consultancy services to plant variety development firms. The course targets graduates who are interested in specializing in areas related to plant genetic improvement, genetic resource management or seed production.

Civil Engineering is considered to be the most versatile branch among all the engineering branches. It is the branch with a lot of diversity from geotechnical engineering to structural engineering, environmental to hydraulics, transportation to hydrology; Civil Engineering can be considered as a single largest branch among all the engineering branches.

Civil Engineering in Centurion University is offered in both the campuses at Parlakhemundi and Bhubaneswar. The department has some of the most senior faculty members drawn from retired professors from Orissa and AP. It has also professors who have been Chief Engineers of the state. The pedagogy is a mix of theory and practice. Like all departments, Civil also has about 60% practical component in its curriculum.

Agricultural Education is the teaching of agriculture, natural resources, and land management through hands-on experience and guidance to prepare students for entry-level and advanced agricultural jobs. Demand for agricultural graduates is supposed to be high as compared to the demand for all other occupations in the coming years. The global trend towards standardization of all agricultural products and equipment will lead to greater demand for agricultural professionals. The increasing demand for agro-products, the efforts toward attaining greater efficiency in the agricultural industry and the emphasis of conservation of scarce resources would result in a higher job. 

Agricultural Science deals with all topics related to agriculture and forestry, including plant cultivation, animal breeding, and farming technologies.
