This course also entails carrying out observational studies like body fat percentage in Medadhatuvriddhi with the help of body fat monitor and experimental studies like lipid profile in dual constitution with Goghruta.

This implies joining or integrating all aspects of the individual – body with mind and mind with soul – to achieve a happy, balanced and useful life, and spiritually, uniting the individual with the supreme. Naturopathy, or naturopathic medicine, is a form of alternative medicine based on a belief in vitalism, which posits that a special energy called vital energy or vital force guides bodily processes such as metabolism, reproduction, growth, and adaptation.

This subject of Rog Nidan Avum Vikruti Vigyan plays a vital role in medical science. The Post graduate studies in this subject is designed in such a way that the students become good researchers and confident medical professionals in Ayurveda. The curriculum is designed to develop excellent diagnostic knowledge among students of Ayurveda.

This is a 3 year postgraduate program recognised by the Medical Council of India. This involves rotational postings in the departments of Physiology and General Medicine. The course involves an in depth study of physiology of the different systems of the body and the application of this knowledge in understanding the pathophysiology of disease.

The student gains a good practical experience in our Microbiology and state of art Serology Laboratories. The close collaboration of the department with National AIDS Control Organisation and National Tuberculosis Control Program, gives the student the opportunity to participate in various Public Health Programmes.

The department supervises the Hospital Infection Control Committee, and issues guidelines regarding antibiotic use in the hospital. This exposure will train the candidate in application of knowledge of Microbiology in the hospital setting and in industry. This practical training is backed by a robust teaching program , where the subject with all its sub-specialities is taught via lectures, seminars, journal clubs and case discussions. The experience gained by the student facilitates the development of excellent laboratory skills and sound judgement in the practice of Microbiology and all its sub-specialities.
