This is a 3 year postgraduate program recognised by the Medical Council of India. This involves rotational postings in the departments of Physiology and General Medicine. The course involves an in depth study of physiology of the different systems of the body and the application of this knowledge in understanding the pathophysiology of disease.

The department is well equipped with state of art laboratories where the trainee physiologists can hone their practical skills. Theory is taught in the form of lectures, case discussions, journal clubs and seminars. The student is trained to teach physiology to undergraduate students under expert supervision. The course provides an excellent academic and research experience to the student. It facilitates development of communication and pedagogical skills, which help the student become a teacher par excellence in the subject.

This course is common to all the students. This course includes an update of the Basic Sciences such as Biomechanics & Applied Physiotherapy, Biophysics, etc for improving abilities in functional diagnosis and clinical reasoning. This course also includes Allied Subjects such as Management, Ethics & Teaching Technology. 

This course includes the study of any one Specialty selected from above & an independent research project/ dissertation, preferably based on the Specialty.

M. Tech (Instrumentation Engineering) is a unique inter-disciplinary two-year post-graduate program intended to equip students with knowledge of instrumentation, process control and automation of various industries. The course provides a sound foundation and trains students to ‘model’ problems or ‘simulate’ processes varying across many disciplines in science and engineering. It educates and trains students for a diverse range of theoretical skills and practical experience of real-time applications and design experience. The Dravyaguna department mainly deals with the Dravya (medicine), Guna (properties) and its Karma (activity). It comprises of maetria medica, pharmacognosy, pharmacology and Ayurvedic clinical therapeutics. The curriculum is designed in such a way that, it includes Ayurvedic as well as contemporary knowledge of medicine.

A Dravyaguna expert can get jobs in several fields like government and private sector, academic (Ayurveda pharmaceutical colleges and companies), research oriented jobs as a Research officer in CCRAS, AYUSH department, pharmaceutical industries (Ayurveda as well as herbal unit), clinical research units. As Dravyaguna subject covers detailed study of medicinal plants, like identification, adulteration, substitution, agro technical aspects. It enables the physician to practice efficiently as compared to the practitioners of other specialties. 

This Diploma course will provide the student with a detailed scientific understanding of how Diet & Nutrition can be used in the management of various diseases. Students will learn the role of diet in the causation, progression, and treatment of different disease conditions. They will also learn how to evaluate nutritional needs in various health conditions and recommend dietary therapy. The course will help the student to understand how to use Diet & Nutrition for management of obesity and treatment of various diseases to serve the society.
