This is a post-graduate program of 3 years duration recognised by the Medical Council of India. The program includes rotational postings in the Departments of Anaesthesia, Medicine, Surgery , Critical Care, Paediatrics & Emergency Medicine. The student is also posted in the Super speciality Departments of Paediatric Surgery, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery and Paediatric Surgery. The student is also trained to administer Palliative Care.

The extensive practical training imparted to the student is supported by a teaching program that involves lectures, journal clubs, and case discussions. Our state of art Simulation Laboratory, is an invaluable aid to augment the learning of practical skills.

The Department is equipped with a state of art Dissection Hall, Histology Laboratory, and a Departmental Research Laboratory. The Anatomy Museum has an extensive and varied collection with various sections pertaining to Comparative Anatomy, Radiology, Embryology, Neuroanatomy and Gross Anatomy. The student gains proficiency in Dissection, Histological techniques, Histology, Embryology , Osteology, Radiological and Cross Sectional Anatomy under the supervision of experienced teachers.

The student is trained extensively in Pedagogical skills by being actively involved in teaching undergraduate students under supervision. This extensive practical training is supplemented with providing the student with a sound theoretical base with the aid of lectures, seminars, micro-teaching sessions and journal clubs. The course gives an excellent opportunity to the student to study Anatomy, its application and all its subspecialities in detail. It facilitates the development of Pedagogical and Research Skills, which help the student become a teacher par excellence.

The Clinical Nutrition course will provide the student with a detailed scientific understanding of how nutrition can be used in the management of various diseases. The Masters in Urban Design program offers students to shift and enhance their previously set paradigm to the macro scale of perceiving the underlined architectural urban scenarios. It is a course of two years with each year further subdivided into two semesters. This course addresses the realm of the urbane by contextualising the different practices and cultures of the cities.
The course offers thorough understanding of planning objectives, socio-cultural backgrounds, heritage and historical values, administrative structures, governance and policies, eco-sensitive and sustainability approaches etc. thus, giving it a multifaceted approach.

The course gives a firsthand experience to the students to be working along with planning authorities, various government organisations, non governing organisations, private practitioners, communities, citizen groups etc. It also helps students derive a strong research base in the due course of two years.

Our department is equipped with a state of art Biochemistry laboratory and a research laboratory. The practical training entails interpretation of various test results and their performance. In addition to this the student gains by interaction with clinical services, understanding of technical methods, instrumentation, information systems, quality assurance and Laboratory management.

This is backed by a sound theoretical knowledge base that is acquired by means of attending lectures, seminars, journal clubs and case discussions. The student is also trained in pedagogy. The course provides ample opportunity to develop practical and interpretational skills as a biochemist. It facilitates the development of an analytical and application based approach to the practice of Biochemistry.

It Prepares graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives at a basic level in providing promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. It also develops nurses who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of facilitating individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, community nursing services, and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. Bioinformatics is a scientific discipline that deals with the retrieval, storage, processing, analysis, and management of biological information through computational techniques. It uses mathematics, biology, and information technology to understand the biological importance of an extensive variety of data. Bioinformatics technologies are used in various pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. It is majorly used in the medical sector, driven by the increasing use of bioinformatics for the drug discovery and development process. 

Under the 4-year B. Tech in Information Technology Programme, the students learn to program in higher-level languages and create applications based on Cloud, Information and Data. Students learn to use the Software Engineering processes to specify, design, develop, test and deploy software applications for solving problems. Students are groomed to work effectively in teams and to communicate effectively with a client. The course also prepares students to acquire new computer-related skills independently as technologies evolve, communicate technical concepts effectively and conduct themselves in an ethical and professional manner.
